We drove for around 1h just to try this restaurant and it totally worth it. Very pleasant place with attentive service. Food really delicious and well presented, with generous portions (we had Pezinhos de Coentrada and Lombinho de porco preto with Puré de Maçã). A...special remark to the fabulous Pumpkin Pudding as a dessert. Price completely fair regarding the quality of food and service. Definitely will go back and suggest it to anyone who wants a good place to eat.More

It was the first time that I went to this restaurant and it was a very good surprise. Perfect meals, the staff is very kind and attentive. Actually, due the Covid19 situation, the restaurante is meeting the requirements. Excellent meals and also the desserts, with...a note of luxury and refinement, not forgetting the quality and taste. The experience was so good that we returned in the next day. It will be a pleasure to return to this restaurant!More

Really excellent meals. We came for dinner once and repeated, trying different items in the menu. Eating here is for pleasure.

Since the Thermal Spa of Cabeço de Vide has had a lot of publicity due to its "miracle water" investigated by NASA scientists, the region had a turism boom. A very quiet place, very good service and lots of place to park. In the middle...of Fronteira, there's nothing like it in a big radius, a very sophisticated place for what's usual in Alentejo. Decor is plain, simple but well placed. We had 2 dinners there and on both occasions the food was perfect. Portions are substantial and desserts to die for. Wine selection is big. Prices are above average of what you pay in Alentejo but you pay for quality and difference.More

The four of us were cycling through northern Portugal and stopped in Fronteira for lunch. A local recommended this restaurant and it was just superb. The tomato soup was wonderful and the veal and lamb were so tender and tasty. Even the bread with olive...oil was unusually good. Our waiter spoke very good English and was such a good host to us. Do yourself a favor and dine here. Absolutely excellent food and service.More

We asked some locals for a restaturant and they all recommended this one, hidden behind the church on the main street through town. The server was super friendly and helpful and as we couldn't read the Portuguese menu he made some recommendations. In the end...we chose the meat trio with potato & tomato migas - it was all wonderful. The local pork, lamb and beef were cooked medium rare, as requested, and perfect.More

I was fortunate enough to have dinner here with my family, as we visited Fronteira for a friends bday party. The food is amazing, service is excellent, and the staff was very attentive and keen to explain more about the local food! The wine selection...is very good, and I can only recommend to anyone who might be lucky enough to pass by Fronteira.More

We went on a Tuesday night and it was quiet. The waiter was a pro. I had the lamb and my husband had meat trio. We were both very pleased with the food and wine. Our girls had the chicken soup. It is a lovely...place with simple decor, delicious food and great service!More
