We had birthday meal, great food, entree was very enjoyable and the main really hit the spot. All nicely complemented by cocktails from the bar. Great spot on the porch, view to the lit trees and we could walk 20m from our table to the lagoon. Great place to enjoy a meal with friendly hosts and staff.

We had a wonderful evening on the beach for my husbands 40th birthday at Vaima's. The good was great and so was the service. There are not many places where you can enjoy a top quality steak while sitting on the sand with waves lapping up the beach a couple of meters behind you! Magical :-)

We booked a table close as possible to outside, arrived to a very warm welcome by friendly staff. Surroundings were fantastic inside & out.Although it was fully booked it wa not long before we had cocktails/beers delivered while we studied our options off the menu . All our meals were excellent & plentiful. Great friendly staff were always on hand... More

Vaima is a beautiful beach front restaurant. The menu and drink options were plentiful, it was hard to choose! I thought the seafood curry was delightful and my wife enjoyed her beef & Yorkshire pudding. We also indulged in some of the desserts as well. We found the pavlova & crème brûlée to be good, but not great. Vaima also... More

Stayed a few hundred metres "down the beach" at Palm Grove. Nice walk alongside the lagoon - amazing food and location on the beach second to none. Bookings for beachfront tables a must and worthwhile for the sunsets!

Great service, atmosphere and magical night time setting. Food was excellent. We went with friends and family to celebrate our last night in Rarotonga and couldn't have wished for a more lovely setting.

Yes you can sit by the water to eat, but the food was poor-average at best. The seafood curry was a touch too sweet and the crust on the slow cooked pork belly was too hard to cut through with my knife and was over cooked. The cheesecake was served at room temperature and was average at best. Service is... More

You need to book; they run this place like a clock and often cannot accomodate walk-ins. We walked down to check this out and were pleasantly surprised. Super-efficient, very good food, very professional staff. Went back two more times during our week's stay. Skip the fish and chips, it's frozen fish from NZ. Catch of the day is fresh and... More

Sit by the water and excellent polynesian food, there are outside right on the water where you can hear the ocean sounds while eating your meal and a few cold drinks. Food is excellent too.
