Order placed on just eat, 90 minutes before opening. Order was accepted with a delivery time of 6.10pm restaurant has now updated the delivery time to 8.00pm. I called to ask if this was correct at 6.20, 10 mins after my original delivery time and...was told by a very arrogant man mumbling down the phone ‘more people live local init so we serve them first’ I told him I’d come and pick it up as I wasn’t waiting another 2 hours for my food and instead of allowing me to collect, he cancelled the order. absolutely disgusting customer service and I will not be using them again and I’d recommend anyone else stay away. Don’t advertise a delivery distance if you’re not prepared to fulfill the delivery!More

I am really not happy with the takeaway order I received. In my peshwari naan there were string of melted plastic and a clump of clear plastic within the bread. Within my korma I found short black hair. The order was received at 9pm and...I got it at 11pm, an hour after Google says the restaurant closes. I tipped the driver from the restaurant and I thoroughly wish I had ordered elsewhere. I tried to call the restaurant however their line was continuously busy. My night was ruined.More

We ordered takeaway, via their website. The website is brilliant. Comprehensive and easy to use. It told us that our food would be ready in 40 minutes. Make that 60 minutes, as there was a 10 minute wait. And then they realised they'd missed something...off the order, and called us back, before we got to the car. The food was a mixture of good and ok. The sag paneer was really sweet, too much for me. The chicken tikka was over salted. The paneer was heavenly. The madras was great. The okra, we didn't get to taste, as they gave us aubergine instead, which tasty enough. And the lamb bhuna. That was missing entirely. But hey, we got 20% discount, so that kind of covered the ommision. I probably wouldn't use them again, mainly on the basis of the chicken tikka and spinach. The staff were very friendly, so I'm guessing that they're trying hard. But how difficult is it to take an order over the internet and get it right?More

I tried to get food from this place by using Deliveroo and it took over 2 hours and the time took over the expected time arrival and the cherry on top is that it never even arrived. I called the restaurant more than five times,...they never picked up. Finally spoke to the customer service of Deliveroo three times, one of them said they will take over 10-15 mins more and I was like fine. Then waiting for another 40 mins, it said the food arrived. NO IT DIDNT. Luckily the Deliveroo service helped me out by returning my money spend so never buying food from this place ever again! DUCK THIS RESTAURANT!! As an Indian citizen, I am appalled by this behaviour! So if you are thinking of getting food from here, literally pick anywhere else.More

Ordered food for delivery through Just Eat from this place. Took over two hours to arrive. Food was all squashed when it arrived. On top of this already bad experience the food was awful. greasy and burnt. Cannot emphasize how much you should avoid this...establishment!More

Hands down the best Indian Takeaway around the area. The sauce is out of this world, knife always cuts through the chicken beautifully. Not a bad word to say about this takeaway. More people around the area of Southborough and Tunbridge Wells should give Tarkari...a try!More

The delivery man was extremely kind and pleasant, ensuring maximum personal liking for this particular takeaway. 100% worth going to for an Indian curry, a dark horse in Tunbridge Wells....Quite thrown aback by some of the bad reviews, but 6 times I have been and 6 times Tarkari Tandoori Takeaway has failed to disappoint me.More
