We had dinner here and were impressed by the service and food. With a single waitress and small kitchen the food and service were of a high standard. The fish is very fresh and probably has not travelled far from the seafront. The wine is...More

Very impressed with the quality of food offered here. Went with the taster menu which gave the opportunity to try a verity of styles. All very good. It was on the quiet side, that said it was early evening, midweek at the end of season.

Another fantastic meal. Monkfish perfectly cooked, scallops and prawns too. Great service, quick, efficient, yet not too rushed. Keep up the good work!

I have been a number of times in a group of four when we visit Beer. As always it's great, my companions always go for the fish tasting menu which they always enjoy. I don't eat fish but there is always something lovely, this time...More

Tucked away in the village, we really enjoyed an evening meal at this lovely restaurant. The seafood taster meal was delicious, all nicely cooked and well presented. Wine was at the right temperature and the service was very good. Highly recommended.

Arrived at 1:15 pm on a Bank Holiday weekend to be told "the kitchen is closed". No other explanation. Is this the way to treat potential customers?

Suspect only guide dogs but ask. You might feel less self conscious with the village pubs which are pretty good.

You can take a dog in during the day for coffee/ lunch and there is a designated area. Not in the evenings. The Anchor is dog friendly in the bar areas as is The Dolphin and Osbornes (when open).
