I got a tasty cheese empanada to go while visiting. It was tasty but very greasy since it was fried. I happen to like them not fried but it was still good!

We were walkinginto town and this place lookedd busy so we thought it would be a good polace to try.... and it was. We had two different empanadas and then shared, which were excellent along with local beer.

Straight forward food. Mediumly priced for Easter Island, nothing special, but nothing to complain about either. Note that most places in Esater Island add 10% for dining in, instead of take-out. They do this here to, and call it a "tip" (sort of lost in...More

We got 4 to share and each one was unique and tasty. I liked the veggie & cheese the best. The meat & cheese is good too. You can't go wrong with whatever you order. Don't forget to try the local beer from Chile, Estuda,...More

We were on Easter Island for 2 nights and we ate here twice because their empanadas are honestly the best empanadas any of us have ever eaten.

Empanadas here are large, served hot and very good. However, we found the best on the island to be the shrimp and cheese empanadas at Anakena beach -- last stand on the left.

Known as Tia Berta's, this is one of two place to try empenadas while in Rapa Nui. The other has baked, whereas this place serves fried empenadas. Select from a variety: cheese, chicken, meat, fish, etc. They cost 2,500 Pesos each, and one is big...More
