tasty, fresh homely food. Owner Mr Pant is a very good cook & person. We liked veg dishes served to us. waiting time was 15-20 minutes, Food was hot . place was very clean, decoration was also good.

Visited this restaurant for dinner based upon local people recommendations, and we were in for a pleasant surprise. The restaurant prepares fresh food based upon your order. We had north indian food for dinner, which was very delicious. Also, the owner- Mr. M.K. Pant, who...is also the Chef, served some local Kumaoni food. Based upon the good experience, decided to have breakfast next morning also at same place. And voila, had a different menu in morning - which included Continental menu - such as Pancakes. Were not expecting the same at such a small place. Ordered honey pancakes, and they were really amazing. Other things such as sancwiches, paranthas, maggi were also promptly served. While having meals, Mr. Pant (owner and chef) and a local - discussed about changing face of Kausani over 40 years- and how increasing urbanization has adversely impacted local vegetation, etc. He is an environmentalist, and serves only vegetarian food. He is ex-Indian army, and now feels left out in today's times of internet, where people book hotels with meals as package at kausani and then dont try local restaurants. All in all, a great place to have fresh prepared delicious meals, and very economical as well. Will definitely recommend to visit there in Kausani.More

Food is always served fresh and hot. Loved the dishes they prepared and it was real value for money.

The foods are not delicious but they are value for money. You will get a little bit diversity in dishes. The place is neat and clean.

Great tasty food.. simple, homely taste and good service. Has a seating space of 4-5 tables. Good for lunch and dinner. We had basic daal and paneer and it was good.

it is located in the market & is 2 km away from TRH Kasauni. they serve only veg food .apart from breakfst , lunch & dinner snacks are also available. we went for lunch after reading great reviews on trip advisor but were hugely disappointed...with the food served. even the boiled rice were undercooked & rajma was flavourless. we ordered the local dish - moolee ka thechua which again tasted very bland . the food is made fresh but contributes to very slow service TIP - the taste is very bland for Indian palate.It is better to stick to simple fare served in the restaurants wherever you are staying in KausaniMore

Nothing fancy about this place, yet it serves hot and homely food at very affordable price. Don't expect too much variety and stick to what they would be ready to serve.

We ate here on a number of occasions and the staff were keen and helpful. The food was cooked to order so nothing was left sitting around. The hot lemon, honey and ginger drink was refreshing and reviving.
