From booking online to paying at the end our whole time was flawless. Booking online was easy, staff were able to add additional people to my original booking (twice!) With no fuss. The pub has a lovely 'oldy-worldy' feeling, is clean, tidy and welcoming. My 5 friends and I ordered a variety of different starters and mains, all were served... More

A sad reflection on its former glory. Menu exceptionally limited without even a sirloin steak in sight, leave alone a fillet! Wine list again very limited, consisting of mediocre plonk. No grand reserva etc. Unfortunately the prices don't reflect the downward spiral of the menu! So disappointing considering the previous excellent restaurant this was.

Called in last minute today and was welcomed into a friendly pub that cooked the food exactly as we asked with a proper taste of good old Welsh cooking with a twist, mash with black pudding, lamb stew, fresh salmon, steak an ale pie and the menu goes on. Came here with family for sunday lunch. Food excellent. Staff very friendly. It was my daughter in law birthday and staff brought out a small cake with candle and came out singing happy birthday. Thank you.

Great food friendly service easy access off M4 on way to Brecon.Lovely pub garden too .Parking a little tricky you might have to park on roadside or around the village But wasn't a big problem
