We drove around mount Etna from Lingua Glossa to Randazzo and North from there crossing the national park. It's the best drive in Sicily, taking you through luscious vineyards and imposing mountains and valleys. Just before you get to Randazzo there's this restaurant/winery, Ristorante Da Antonio nestled between mount Etna and their own fields of vineyards. It's a fantastic place.... More

This is a stunning place to dine with a high ceiling and giant press dominating the room. It is inexpensive with main courses of around €10-€12. The food was made with care and skill, but I think the chef is trying too hard. For example, we ordered some sort of tortellini, which was really flavoursome. However, it came in a... More

Whilst showing the area to friends, on a "Monday" at lunchtime (it seems like that almost everything is closed on Mondays in the area) we were looking for a good place to eat and directed by locals we found this great place. We loved the excellent and very well presented food as well as the Nerello Mascalese wine produced from... More

We discovered its new location outside of town by accident, but we had a great lunch, consisting only of the house antipasto for two, with so many great items we did not have room for any other courses. The total bill, including wine and water, was 28 euros. Both the house white and red come from grapes grown on the... More

A lovely view, a beautiful interior, and wonderful food. There is seriously more food than you can eat, but everything is worth trying at least a little bit of.

Lovely restaurant if you're visiting Etna. Fresh produce excellent service and good wine choices. Wait staff were particularly helpful with the food and wine options. Make sure you try the artisanal beers they're amazing!

We found this restaurant online, and it was highly regarded/rated. Off-season so no tables outside but they could likely double their customers, and likely do based on our experience. Very small and intimate inside. Just the right volume of music, and the atmosphere lent people to keep their voices down when talking. Unusual for Italy! Antonio enjoyed talking to us... More

On recent trip with 5 well traveled family members we came upon this restaurant in randazzo in an old stone villa. The interior was so authentic with a giant olive crusher reaching across the whole room as a centerpiece took us back in time but with a modern yet authentic feel. We had antipasti that was wonderful long skinny green... More

We were happy to find a restaurant after visiting Taormina and not finding anything open due to the off season. Traveling back towards randazzo towards our villa we stopped at da Antonio even though it was before 7 pm. Looked dark but ventured into courtyard to see a lit restaurant. Was warmly greeted by Antonio himself. The interior was charming... More
