Amazing food, traditional Greek hospitality and beautiful surroundings. I’ve been here twice on my travels to Crete and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. The home grown tomatoes stuffed are to die for and it’s supported with a traditional Cretan family service. Predominately everything they make is grown or raised on their own farm. The best restaurant I’ve been to in Crete by a country mile and I’ve been to 114 different restaurants.

Delicious food, the best antikristo in Greece( much better than in argyroupoli) !!!!!!
We found them by chance, on our way back from Elafonisi to Chania, but we didn’t regret stopping. We had the best dinner! A wonderful Cretan family, prepares everything using vegetables, meat, cheese from their own farm!
The father prepares the antikristo&raki, one of the brothers prepares the delicious sweets, mother is the queen of the kitchen and they all serve the goodies, with smiles on their face and talking with all the customers. Excellent everything here and kind and hardworking people. Congratulations!

Dimitris and his father shared with us a part of the traditional Crete cuisine and hospitality. Everything we were served was freshly picked from their own garden and hand made with care into probably one of the most heart felt meals we've ever had. We received many gifts from them. Among them, an authentique experience that enriched us in a way only good people can.

The food was simply outstanding, showcasing the authentic flavors of Cretan cuisine. Each dish was a delightful blend of fresh ingredients and traditional recipes, leaving our taste buds craving for more.
What made our visit even more special was the unparalleled hospitality of the tavern's owners. They welcomed us with genuine warmth, eager to share their culture and traditions. Family-run tavern with 0 km products. We tried their traditional cuisine enjoying the typical "antikristo" (choice fell on pork). Excellent. The Owner (very nice) offered us freshly picked fruit (figs, pears, oranges). All beautiful... atmosphere, staff.... would stay there again!!

Beautiful restaurant surrounded by mountain greenery. Recommended restaurant and found on the way back from Elafonisi. The meat and other dishes are delicious, all produced by the owner. It is family run and this can be felt in the truly beautiful atmosphere that makes you feel at home, especially that of the kind, generous owner who is always ready to pass on his great knowledge and specialties to everyone!!!

Great Greek good.
Such a nice enviroment, surrounding by mountains. tables and chairs are placed within the whole garden. You can sit under the trees, next to the swing, next to the small river, close to the playground,... Kind and friendly staff Is ready to replaced the table anywhere you wish.
And the food? It Is just delicious. So autentic. Full of spices.

This place is magic. Their warm welcome make you feel in our own garden from the beginning until the end of the stay. And you never feel like leaving. The food is fresh, delicious and prices are incredible for the quality. They have hamacs if you wish a siesta after your food. Extremely recommended.

Family-run restaurant with excellent quality 0 km products. Try the moussaka prepared by the lady. Relaxing place, friendly staff. It's like eating at a Greek family's home. Worth the stop!!!

It wasn't just a meal...it was an experience!!
Lord Vassilis was very helpful and hospitable, as was his son!! they made us feel at home!! the food was excellent!
Be sure to try antichristo, staca with eggs and bun!!

Absolutely amazing, I wouldn’t fault it for anything. Food is home made and the they introduced the Greek culture by serving on the house raki/water/fresh bread/fruits/chestnuts . The Garden is beautifully presented with a brilliant play park for the children making it family friendly they also have hammocks to anyone’s availability.They are extremely friendly and try speak whatever language you do , they are also super inclusive no matter the language barrier
