Popped in for lunch, although food served with side salad and crisps, the place just looked a bit shabby and felt it too, with the service and prices for what you got. Check the take away verses sit in prices and there can be quite a difference. Reminded me of a seaside cafe of twenty years ago.
Just popped in here on a whim and found a very clean bistro with a lovely menu. My wife has a baked potato with vegetarian homemade chilli and she loved it. I had a tuna baked potato and thought it was very good. Service was outstanding and the staff were very friendly. We shared some chunky chips too which were... More
Called in here a few times when visiting Borth, sometimes for lunch and also the odd breakfast. We have found the food to be very good and the service friendly. The prices are also reasonable. Easily the best place in Borth for a quick bite to eat during the day.
Enjoys a superb situation for the seafront and holiday parks, and is a magnet for a casual visit. I thought initially that the menu was a little overpriced, but changed my opinion when I saw what came through from the kitchen. It was well worth the money. This is no rip off joint, but a professional family enterprise where quality... More
Thank you for your recent review, I'm happy you enjoyed your experience at our bistro. We take on board your comments about the inexperience waitress and appreciate your feedback, we are a seasonal business and it does to take a little time for new staff at the beginning of the season to gain their confidence. Called in for a quick coffee stop. We were asked to take a seat and if we were eating? When we said we just wanted a coffee the waitress said she'd be back in a moment ... She wasn't. After being completely ignored by 3 members of staff we gave up and went to the lovely cafe over the road.
A good place for refreshments when visiting the attractions of Borth, the stunning dog friendly beach and dunes at the end of the Ynyslas and its petrified forest (car park up a track when you turn onto the beach road). We only had a coffee here but they have a car park and dogs can sit outside.
Lovely cafe right in the centre of Borth just across from the beach. Nice cake and coffee, very friendly staff, everywhere spotlessly clean.
Hi, I would liked o remove this review as I have given the wrong review to the wrong bistro, they both have the same names but in different locations.
