My family and I spend up to three months every year, living outside St Jean D'Angely, we have eaten at many restaurants in the area and always return to Le Petit Bouchon as our favourite. We have sines here, with various friends twice in the last week. The restaurant... More

Good food, great service, fantastic atmosphere! Very nice to meet the owners of the Restuarant also. I would recommend the foie gras. Very nice!

Must give a special mention to the quiche - best I've ever, ever, ever tasted, even better than mine, and that's saying something -lol!... More

My family ate here a couple of times on our holiday. A lovely, friendly, family run restaurant with a great menu. The steaks were delicious - perfectly cooked and with a yummy selection of sauces. I was so happy to find a chef who was happy to serve mine 'bien cuit' so that I could enjoy it rather than worrying... More

The €20 3 course menu is excellent. All of our food was fresh, tasty and appealing. The mother and son team running this small restaurant do it very well indeed. Go here! The confit duck was delicious!

Stopped here on the way back from Bordeaux (about 150 KM or so). The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Will be stopping here again.

The restaurant itself is quite intimate which makes for a lovely evening with friends and the chance to chat to people near you (we met a show jumper rather bizarrely!) and the mother / son combo works perfectly. How they do it though is beyond me, to serve up such great food for so many people is difficult enough I'm... More
