London like in its delivery of a culinary experience close to Michelin standards. Service and friendly atmosphere to match. Well worth the detour off the M1.

The menu is not wide but it is very original and impressive. It is not cheap though if you join the club there are single choice (always different and interesting) menus on a Tuesday night if you join their mailing list

Mains and deserts provided ample. One had calves liver (no inedible bits0 the other had venison. Both very tasty and tender. We would have liked more green vefetables to help soak up the lovely sauces. Deserts were nice too and interesting.

Have reviewed and visited this restaurant many times. On this occasion we accompanied friends for the Auberge Supper held on Wednesday evenings, this set menu is reasonably priced and well worth a try
