Great place to enjoy a Provence meal under the plane trees. Cool atmosphere outside. Nice and friendly welcome by Franck and Claudine, the owners. All dishes are representing the "Provence douceur de vivre". We recommend the baby squid sétoise style, "Le Pied et ses Paquets à la Marseillaise", Stew of beef cheek (so tender). The cheese trolley is well supplied... More

Was sent here on a Sunday night as a "recommendation" by our hotel. Not sure where to even begin.... Food is terrible, everything was over cooked, other than my wife's vegetable starter, which was a dish of raw vegetables with olive oil chucked all over it, on top of a cracker which they called a Tart (seriously?!). We had to... More

We were very dissapointed by your comment which is rather rude. That's why I would take the time to give also my comments : First point to mention regarding your main dish which you found dry due to overcooking, I offered to redo it, but you did not like it either. We had another table on that same night that... More

Such a warm welcoming host.... Claudine is wonderful! Translated the menu and was a wonderful conversationalist! The food was lovely and her suggestion for wine was fantastic - the garden- spring weather really made this a most enjoyable and memorable evening....

A warm welcome and delicious food combined with eating al fresco on the patio made for the most enjoyable dining experience. We called ahead as many restaurants close early in Provence. We were told that the last reservation time was 9:30PM, which we took. The food was excellent beginning with the escargot to the filet du beauf, which was perfectly... More

In France there is a site with which you can book restaurants (la fourgette). La Toubloubre advertises that they give 25% discount if you book with this site. When we arrived at the restaurant we were not given the normal menu but a special menu for people who booked with la fourgette. No surprise that the prices were ridiculous high... More

I just could not believe what I read.... First of all I do not understand why this comment has not been done thru La Fourchette as if the reservation has been made with this internet platform, evaluation questionnaire is sent automatically and will come back to us via La Fourchette. On Trip Advisor anybody can write anything even if they... More

We visited this restaurant today, 11th of March, with our friends who live close by. When we got there, we were informed that we cannot order menu as the reservation was made online so we ordered a la carte. When we finished eating the problems started. Booking online via French site De Fork was supposed to grant us 30% discount... More

Ate here on the recommendation of my brother-in-law's parents, whom we had the pleasure of dining with. The food is traditional provencal cuisine, and well executed. Service was friendly and we elected to eat outdoors - all the better to enjoy the lovely autumn afternoon which was unseasonably warm. Special mention goes out to the fish soup - similar to... More

We arrived without a reservation but there was plenty of room although the restaurant was busy on a Saturday night. We had a selection of menus between us and were pleased with the food. A good steak with maître d'hôtel butter and carré d'agneau. Imaginative starters - delicious take on prawn and crevette cocktail. My wife had a good veal... More
