Oldest pub in Britain Good food Not a large selection on Menu but it’s tasty. Nice ambient with fireplace and a must see ...oldest pub in Britain Norton st Philip is such a lovely small village.

Decided to go for the pie which is not something I would normally have but it was delicious. Very lovely friendly staff.

We returned again as we really enjoyed our last visit. Love the ambiance and the wonderful log fires. Good service and an enjoyable meal - we all had the duck followed by wonderful deserts.

Excellent place, had a lovely stay. Great food and atmosphere, loved the open fires , building has been kept sympathetically to its age. Room was furnished to hi standard , bed was very comfortable.
