If the people and the pies are indeed very nice, the meat is not good which is a pity for a steakhouse. The filet minion seemed to be re-shaped meat and it was really greasy.

Nice atmosphere, seems like it is pretty family friendly also. Steak and lobster and kids meals are available. They offer good creamy mushroom soup with every meal. Also its nice to get a few mini home made pies to go for dessert after you leave!
There are better places to eat. Nothing really wrong with Flipper, just nothing really right either. We actually had planned to go to the burger place next door, but it was closed, oh well.

I heard about the pies here, so gave them a try. They were okay. Would have been better is they had been warm and fresh. Fillings were apple, blueberry, blueberry cheese and another I can't remember now.
They make the best mini pies that I have frequented to visit this place at least once a month while working in Okinawa for 18 years. Good seating for dinners overlooking the East China Sea. Very nice place to enjoy the dinner and the sunset....More
