Went to take my nan out for a meal with my two boys, unfortunately when we arrived we were told no children were allowed. Could be a great place, but no for families with children, maybe an update to the website could save any wasted...More

I’m really sorry for your wasted journey. I can only apologise. We always check to see if there are any children in the party if a booking is made. It is obviously impossible to do this with a spontaneous visit. Our website doesn’t say children...More

Dave and the team are great hosts. Food is good honest home made pub food. Special mention food wise must go to the weds curry night and Sunday's amazing roast. Alongside this Dave always has great beers on offer.

Came here for Sunday Roast today. Service and food were superb. We love good service and Sharon was second to none. So helpful and made our lm10 year old daughter very welcome. Will definitely be going back. Thank you.

My dad took me here for lunch, the foods Is very nice and fresh. It's not somewhere I would of though of going myself but was pleasantly surprised, it's a typical old fashioned pub but is clean big and inviting.

I have seen a couple of dogs at the pub before, but not a regular occurrence to be fair. The landlord Dave is a great bloke so I'm sure he wouldn't mind a request.

A good old fashioned pub that offers an express lunch menu & daily specials from just £3.95-£8.95. Served Monday-Saturday 12-2:15. Tuesday-Saturday, 6-9, we serve fantastic, home-made restaurant quality food. We offer 2 Courses for £14.95 Tuesday-Thursday. Sunday lunch is served 12-6pm. Booking is highly recommended. We offer 6 real ales, German lagers, craft keg beers & real ciders. Sorry, but we do not allow any children under the age of 10.
