We've been wanting to try Linguine for a while and tonight we made the most of having a babysitter and got a last minute table for the early bird menu, which is an absolute bargain.
The host was lovely and made us feel so welcome, waiting staff were attentive too and we had our starter within 15 mins of being seated! Food was delicious and served piping hot. We weren't rushed at all despite the resteraunt being busy. Couldn't fault a thing and we are very much looking forward to visiting again.
Thanks for a great evening!

I'll start by saying this place is an absolute hidden gem! The waiter treated my 75 year old mum like royalty he was so lovely and attentive we couldn't praise him higher. Now the food! This was by miles the nicest food we have ever eaten and I am half Sicilian. Every dish was as exquisite as the last and so very fairly priced, I would normally pay twice maybe 3 times the price that they charge for such quality and flavour. I will definitely be returning and telling everyone how amazing this restaurant is. If you are after fairly priced but amazing quality food you need to look no further as this place is perfect in every way! Food 20/10, service 100000000000/10 , ambience 10/10 (italian music really sets the mood) all in all the nicest place i have ever visited and is now my favourite place to eat!

I have visited Linguines restaurant on many occasions both with my friends and separately with my family. The food is beautifully cooked and I have tried several meals on the menu including seafood risottos and seafood pasta dishes plus lovely mussels and also fantastic sea bass. There is always an ambient atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff are very attentive and friendly. There are two lovely waiters called Ari and Anise and other nice staff two.The owner of Linguines is also very nice.

We live locally and when there is a family special day we usually go to Socrates (quirky but excellent) for some reason we booked Linguine, big mistake.
Place was full as usual, but why I will never know.
Service was surly, ordering was chaos, they didn’t know how to make the simplest of cocktails, we were not offered a choice of gins, food order required one of us to correct then twice. We were a table of 8.
Food came very quickly, before some of the drinks! too quickly.
Starters we passable, although 3 prawn for £7 was taking the piss.
Again mains arrived before Some had actually finished chewing the starters, and they were generally shocking, the pizza ordered was clearly frozen and microwaved, soggy and I think from Iceland, and I’m not joking.
Couple of the pastas were good but again 3 ravioli was again a bit skimpy, the vegetable lasagna was massive but looked like my 8 yrs old nephew had made it.
Shocking experience, I am completely dumbfounded as to why it’s full most night, they must do some great deals for the homeless, because people aren’t there for the food, drink or service.
5 of us though it was the worst meal out we’d ever had, 2 were to polite to comment.

Me and my girlfriend went on a little date night, as soon as we entered we were welcomed into the restaurant in a friendly manner. The two young waitresses (Niomi and Molly) were lovely, both working exceptionally hard to give their customers an excellent service, made sure we were okay with everything, polite and talkative. The food was tasty with lots of flavour and equated to an affordable price for two (£40). Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning to try more!

This was our first visit and the food was great. A good selection of pasta and pizzas but also a great range of well cooked fish, chicken, beef, veal dishes. There is a early bird offer between 4pm-7pm which is good value. Service was quick and very friendly. Only marking Linguine down slightly as it seems to be one of the few that aren’t offering ‘eat out to help out’ which was a shame.

We celebrated a milestone birthday with the family on 18th Jan - all 20 people! We had planned the menu beforehand with Zano and pre-ordered. The extensive menu catered for all tastes and more!
The first course was served promptly was enjoyed by all especially the mussels in a lovely creamy white wine sauce and the fried calamari. There was plenty of time to chat and enjoy the relaxed ambience of this wonderful Italian restaurant with a few glasses of full-bodied red wine before the main course was served.
The main courses were absolutely delicious with a special mention for the tagliatelle sorrentina (hope I've spelt it correctly), the pork loin in a mushroom sauce and the sea bass.
We finished off with the whole restaurant singing Happy Birthday as they brought the cake to the table! Fabulous!
A great time was had by all and a big thank you to Linguine's for making the evening so special.

It's been a while since I've had the pleasure of eating such good quality well made food. From start to finish the whole evening was faultless. The greeting upon entry was warm the service was of a high standard being very informative and the selection of both food and drinks were on point.
Both the starter and mains came very swiftly and were both of a high standard. I had the beef stroganoff and the cuts of beef were so tender it was up there with the best I've ate. Having had two delights both starters and main I had to try the home made tiramisu which hats off linguine was perfect. I will send can not wait to return as it was an absolute pleasure. Thankyou and keep up the good quality and work.

Honestly me and my mum love this restaurant. We are regulars here however this is the first time since lockdown that I have been. We have never been disappointed and tonight was no exception. The service was fantastic, food was absolutely amazing, all staff were wearing masks and felt very safe in regards to COVID regulations. All the waiters were brilliant, and a little shout out to Mo who always kept checking everything was ok with our food and drinks and was very friendly. They did not rush us out so we got to enjoy our meal and drinks afterwards. Honestly one of the best Italians I’ve been too. Always so welcoming and cannot wait to return again! Thank you so much guys and keep doing what you are doing. Looking forward to coming back for a Rossini soon!

Brilliant uni graduation celebration in linguine restaurant and we had a very pleasant experience and it was fantastic day for me. Although we were 8 ppl. everything were very organised and on time. The staffs were very courteous ,welcoming and friendly which made the atmosphere very relaxing and enjoyable.
Food was actually amazing. Chief’s hardworking and talent was obviously seen by the food presentation, quality and the taste of the food. Furthermore, gluten free options where available which was superb.
Excellent COVID-19 measured rules in place. The best Italian restaurant I have ever seen so far and I would recommend it to everyone. No one will be disappointed in linguine definitely if you keep do what you are doing guys in linguine. We will return to linguine soon definitely although we have to drive no less than 60 miles to get there.
Thank you for the great service and it was very much appreciated by us. Only one visit to linguine will justify my comments as there is not any exaggeration in.

Today I visited the restaurant with my family to celebrate my 18th birthday.
I was welcomed with open arms, with friendly staff and great table service, nothing was too much to ask for. The food was stunning, even my younger brother who can be picky with food was pleased. I had a lovely 3 course meal which was delicious and just the right size. I would highly recommend the early bird dinner deal in the week to anyone ☺️👌👍

With the current economic woes and the rising cost of living we are all having to tighten our belts and take extra care with our finances. If you like socialising and enjoy eating out, but sadly like me you find this has become somewhat of a luxury, finding that venue that provides not only decent quality food, but also one that is excellent value for money is an important and compelling factor. Well, if that’s the case you need look no further than Linguine Italian restaurant at 20 Northenden Road in Sale. It’s has become one of our favourite places to dine.
The reason being, from the moment you book a table to when you leave after your meal, you’re made to feel special. My wife and I were reminded last Thursday of the hospitality, tasty food, and the wonderful ambiance that it has when we visited to take advantage of their early bird menu. Having left a message the owner (Zana) rang back to confirm that he could accommodate us a table for two. The restaurant itself is not large, seats around thirty people, extremely clean with a soothing décor that makes you feel at ease with the space and in a funny kind of way the fact that it is small clearly adds to the intimacy of the surrounding. The menu contains an acceptable variety of dishes, certainly what you would expect to see from any authentic Italian restaurant and the wine list offers an eclectic mix of Italian wine and champagne.
As usual, the staff when we arrive were welcoming, we had booked for 6.45pm and even though they were busy our table was ready and waiting. Barbara’s starter was soup of the day which happened to be Cream of Lentil and I went for Calamari Fritti with home-made garlic and rocket. Both starters were faultless, well presented, and even though plentiful, it left you wanting a little bit more. My main course was delicious, which was Branzino alla Montanara (sea bass fillet) grilled and accompanied with cherry tomatoes, capers, olives in white wine source. Barbara decided to indulge herself in a pasta dish and opted for the Tagliatelle con pollo (chicken, onions, mixed mushrooms, white wine cream source and parmesan cheese. Again, our main course was both well presented by the chefs who are visible as they prepare the order in the kitchen, the flavours were excellent and pleasing to the palate complemented by the friendly and hardworking serving staff.
As I mentioned the location is good, parking outside is not always available though, because Northenden Road can get busy in early evenings. However, there is parking available along the streets nearby. Alternatively, with public transport Sale Metro station is only a three-minute walk away.
We would highly recommend Linguine for its exceptional service, the quality of food and its affordability we would give it a 4-star rating.

Amazing meal tonight for my daughters birthday.
From the day I telephoned to make the booking I was impressed by the friendly conversation, on arrival we got the same friendly welcome from all of the staff.
They were very attentive and made you feel relaxed and nothing was too much trouble.
As for the food well compliments to the chef all four of us had starters and a main meal from the early bird menu and omg the food is delicious by far the best Italian food I have had in a long time, very tasty and piping hot no sitting around waiting for ages for your courses to come nice timings between each course two of us had seafood for both starter and mains and it was so fresh and really tasty cannot compliment them enough on the food.
As it was my daughter’s birthday we brought a cake with us so they took it from us and did an announcement for her birthday and the whole restaurant sang happy birthday including all the staff they really went that extra mile.
We will most certainly be returning, thank you all for lovely service and lovely food and for making my daughters evening a really nice one.

My partner and I went to Linguine for a midweek treat. We had chosen there due to the reviews and we were not disappointed! When we arrived we were given complimentary nibbles, for a starter we shared the mussels and for mains we had a pasta dish and a risotto. We were astounded by the quality of the food for such reasonable prices (and we didn’t do the early bird deal!). Complimentary shots at the end of the meal was a lovely touch from the owner. Lovely family run restaurant.

We went for a 60th birthday meal and the team made such a great effort to make it special for the birthday girl - thanks for the singing everyone! All of our meals were excellent quality, great range on the menu for all budgets and tastes and the atmosphere was brilliant. Covid measures were good, hand sanitiser, track and trace details, PPE. As a Sale resident I can’t believe I’ve never been here before, we will certainly be back :)
