We had wonderful sandwiches here, bread is delicious! Highly recommend a visit if in the area before border crossings. Owners were very friendly and polite, service was great and it's a nice quiet spot.

Had a lovely dinner here on my birthday. Very tasty food - would recommend the burrito. I asked for it to be spicy so they gave me extra chilis which I enjoyed! very friendly owners.

One of the few places opened so we went in for a look. Good menu with great service. Ordered a sandwich to takeaway and was advised by the owner to eat it straight away. Thanks for that advice it was wonderful. Can order bread there

Went here based on the reviews. I am giving this place a 2 stars for the friendly family that own it but would only give 1 star for the food and actually based on the prices and wait times 0 stars. The chips were fine but everything else was beyond disappointing and so bland and poorly cooked that you could... More

Very limited choices for restaurants in Chiang Khong, especially so for vegetarians. Bamboo Mexican is most certainly the best choice, whether or not one craves Mexican food. Breakfast menu is extremely appealing, with banana pancakes, homemade muesli with yoghurt and a colorful array of fresh fruit, and more. The coffee is so good that it is positively sacramental! They are... More

Tasty food, pricier than other local restaurants, but great if you fancy a change. It's a small restaurant on the main street, easy to find.

Third time in Chiang Khong and not spotted this place before. Yes it is twice the price of eating "local". Yes it is worth it. Really, really great fresh light Mexican food. Super Salsa, Lovely Quesadilla and brilliant Nachos. Give it a go - you will not be disappointed.

We just happened upon this place while looking for breakfast before hitting the road. We liked it so much, we considered sticking around for dinner. The hosts were incredible and interesting people and their food is prepared excellently and with true passion for what they do. Their breads, bagels and muesli are made fresh and with whole grains and they... More

This place was so worth the visit! Me and my boyfriend decided to go there because we saw so many good reviews here and I couldn't be happier about that decision. It was on Valentine's day so we definitely wanted to treat ourselves with great food. The food was excellent and the portions were big enough for sure. I got... More
