While in Grand Cayman we stayed right across the street from Pappagallo so, naturally, we had to try it. We had a great experience, the food, the staff, the surroundings. It's a must try while on the island

Pappagallo’s was such a great experience! The service was excellent and the menu so enticing that my husband and I ordered three entrees because we couldn’t decide and we were so glad we did….it was all excellent. It’s a bit out of the way of...the rest of Seven Mile where we were staying, but worth the drive!More

We ate here in 2018 and again on this year's vacation in 2022. They have a great variety on their menu, friendly employees, and excellent food. Tip: It's an expensive taxi ride from the Seven Mile Beach area to this restaurant.

Pappagallo is a beautiful restaurant with an amazing view of a pond or a lagoon. The space is elegant. The waitstaff was professional and courteous. The food was a letdown. We started off with a solid bottle of Nero d'Avola. Three types of bread were...served. All were soft and squishy. I had an unappealing Caesar salad. My wife liked her house salad. My wife had a mixed dish of lobster and shrimp that she out and out didn't like. I ordered the short rib, which was good. Our friend thought that her fish was overcooked. The cappuccinos missed the mark. I see all of the five star reviews and have to respectfully disagree. Having eaten at a lot o Italian restaurants in New York and Italy, I can't recommend this one. It's a beautiful site and maybe it's better for brunch.More

Excellent service, great food, best cocktails you’ll ever taste, all made from scratch! Fantastic dinner choices and an amazing Sunday brunch with unlimited Prosecco or champagne. Well worth the trip to West Bay.

Best food, best service, best restaurant on the island. This restaurant has been on the island about 40 years and has only had its roof blown off once. The food is excellent. The service is professional and enjoyably. Table cloths and an entire cast of...servers. I love it for a romantic dinner by the mangroves. But they can also serve large families well.More

We love this restaurant so much. Being Italian, and from Boston we are huge Italian food snobs- but the food and wine at this restaurant are world class!

Excellent, authentic. Impressed that staff wore masks and visitors had to wear them to their tables.

Went with family of 6 including 2 kids. We are food snobs from NY and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Really excellent food and beautiful screened in patio on the water. Nice fresh air but no bugs.

Great food. Great service. Great drinks. Very very smelly Laguna. Maybe a one off, we only went one day. Cool place with great view but the smell was potent.

If you are staying at the extreme east end of the Island (Rum Point or anywhere around that area) it is close to an hour drive, if not more. Remember that cutting through Frank Sound (road) makes the trip shorter, but still... More

Not really sure from East End. Took us about 15 - 20 minutes from Kimpton Seafire.
