About
On crossing the wooden bridge that leads to Ristorante Pappagallo, you will see swimming beneath there are sleek silvery tarpon, always on the lookout for scraps from the kitchen. You are thus, thrown into a world of the exotic, even before reaching the front door! Then, as you enter the spacious foyer, you're met at the front door by an African gray parrot, humorously called Humphrey Bogart. He is one of the oldest Pappagallo employees with over ten years experience in welcoming guests and posing for photos (especially with the little ones!). You will then immediately notice the inviting and well-stocked bar, decorated in an art deco style, where customers can take pre-dinner drinks or enjoy

Beautiful restaurant located in a marsh area with vegetation surrounding. All of our dishes were outstanding. The conch chowder was delicious but a little unusual with a cream base. The lemincello pasta was the best we had ever eaten. Service excellent. Would be our first...More

Simply one of the best restaurants in Cayman or anywhere for that matter. The food is exquisite, the waiters are professional and the setting is superb. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

What a fantastic place. The food is spectacular. The service old world, with a setting that can't be beat. I highly recommend Pappagallo. Bernie

We so enjoy dining outside in such nice weather and were expecting a table on their deck....But...they booked a large group outside and only had inside seating. We almost left....but stayed this time. Unlikely we will return.

We loved our evening at Pappagallo. There were couples, families, and groups all enjoying the wonderful food. Fantastic seafood, beef, pasta, and wine. Service was impeccable. A truly high-end Italian restaurant tucked away on a shimmering lagoon. The lights at night made it particularly magical....More

If you are staying at the extreme east end of the Island (Rum Point or anywhere around that area) it is close to an hour drive, if not more. Remember that cutting through Frank Sound (road) makes the trip shorter, but still... More
