A little out of the way but the service was fantastic and the food was worth the drive. The chilean sea bass and salmon were delicious. Had a number of appetizers and all were incredible. The owner stopped at the table to ensure we were...satisfied with the meal and was a lovely gentleman. Overall a wonderful dining experience.More
This restaurant is hard to find, but worth the trip. Greats: owner, view, food, unique setting, service, etc. Large entree portions. Seafood risotto was great. Wife enjoyed her Bolognese. Services was top notch. Can't really find any criticism other than if you're coming from 7...mile beach, use your phone navigation app.More
This is a very delicious italian restaurant run by true Italians. Everything we ate was spectacular. The location is a bit off the beaten path but worth it- a hidden gem!!
Incredible menu. Amazing ambience. We sat "outside" in a screened area and it was beautiful. Service is excellent.
Pappagallo guarantee an amazing dining experience every time. Staff are so friendly and discreet. Food is out of this world. Definitely a must do here in Cayman. Brunch is incredible. Atmosphere is so fun. Even if you’re not here for a Sunday at least go...for lunch or dinner. You won’t find better.More
Went on New Year's day (I'd suggest making a reservation), and was warmly welcomed by a elderly gentleman who clearly was from Italy from his accent. Everyone we encountered was very pleasant, and the food.... OMG. Best gnocchi I've ever had, except for my Nona's....Amazing wine selection, and they are all very well versed in pairings. The atmosphere was very comfortable, well lighting, and we'll definitely be going back next time!More
Had a recent dinner with 5 adults, food was fine but waiter just ruined it. One adult asked for the sorbet, which said two scoops, the person asked waiter can I have one lemon scoop and one raspberry, well out comes just raspberry, she mentions...nicely to waiter I asked for lemon and raspberry, the waiter in a loud voice says "no you did not" I mean we all heard her ask, so instead of just going back and getting some lemon on a $7.00 dessert, he wants to call her a liar and elevate it. We all were in shock and just basically wanted to get out of there. Dinner was close to $600 usd. With so many other great choices on island, go somewhere where you will be appreciated, your only as good as your wait staff, and this place seems to have gone down hill.More
Pappagallo is a classic Italian restaurant situated on the lagoon in a gorgeous thatched building. Service was good and we enjoyed our time there. However, the food was fair. The fresh catch crudo was basically ruined by the preparation. The beet salad was overly pickled....The grilled snapper was flavorless and underwhelming and expensive. But the veal was delicious and the petite tenderloin tasty. We hear they have a brunch and might return to try that, but not for dinner.More
It was our friends birthday and we had brunch at Pappagolas! It was worth every penny! Always heard of this place and was happy that we finally tried it! Can’t wait to go back!
Beautiful restaurant with wonderful drinks and food. Bonus entertainment with parrot shenanigans in the glass enclosed areas in the restaurant. Service was great. Highly recommend.
This is a classic Italian restaurant on a lagoon. Food was very good, but not really any healthy options. This was the only downside. Otherwise, food and service were great. Highly recommend.
Visited Pappagallos twice this week for my 50th birthday getaway. Visit one (1): enjoyed a fabulous Sunday Brunch. The chef and team outdid themselves! Lobster dumplings. fresh conch, fabulous cheeses, tuna. shrimp gnocchi, and endless lresecco… BEST brunch ever!! Something for everyone. Worth every penny....Visit two (2): was dinner on 50th birthday. The food was fresh and yummy in famous Pappagallos style. We loved every minute… all were welcoming, food impeccable (try house made lobster ravioli) & birthday cake was delish. Ask for Roberto for a memorable evening. Bravo, Pappagallos. We will be back!More
From the time you cross the lighted bridge you know this is going to be a great experience. The patriarch meets you with great pleasure like he’s welcoming you home. We had fresh burrata and carpaccio to share as appetizers. Delicious! Each opted for a...different entree and all raved about how good they were. We had a toddler in tow and the staff was very attentive and kind to her. It was my daughters 31st birthday and they prepared a special treat and sang to her. We can’t say enough great things about this place. Bellisimo!More
Great food and drinks! My pasta dish was incredible, and I’m a pasta snob so that’s saying a lot. They work well as a team and made my husband and I feel at home. They were good with his food allergies so that was nice....I would definitely recommend it here!More
