My family and I enjoyed the taste of Persian food and nice people at Shatter Abbas restaurant. the food wasn't just delicious, but it was a big portion too. one portion literally could feed two people!

It was my first time at this Persian restaurant. It's small place with no general ambiance. If you are looking I was really satisfied with quality of foods. Their server was friendly. Please find some pictures of our foods. Sometimes you can find better quality...food on this kind of place. I had also more rice than other restaurant. Thanks for the team. Shater Abbas is located in a strip mall with other local Persian businesses and also a Japanese restaurant (Sano Sushi). We ordered the Mirza Ghasemi (puréed char-broiled eggplant mixed with their homemade unique roasted garlic tomato sauce and fried scrambled eggs), a hot appetizer, and...Vaziri (chicken leg) Kebabs to share. The Mirza Ghasemi was served with bread and arrived first. The puréed char-broiled eggplant was a mash with the fried scrambled eggs embedded within it. It was pretty tasty. There was also a plate of raw cut-up radishes and cilantro on the table. C had just been to another Persian restaurant recently and informed me that the radish and cilantro was to eat together with the bread. The combination was unlike anything I’ve had before and was pretty good. It seemed very healthy too since the radishes and cilantro were raw. The Vaziri Kebabs plate included one skewer of marinated boneless chicken leg and one skewer of ground beef (koobideh). Both skewers were char-broiled and served with saffron basmati rice and grilled tomato. It was so nicely assembled on the plate. It was a big portion and nowadays a size that I can definitely share with another person. I was really impressed with how tender the chicken leg meat was! The seasoning was just right. I also thought the koobideh was so well-seasoned and tender too. 😀 Great food here and the service was good. I’m interested to come back to try their other veggie dishes and traditional dishes. Food is 5-star Good food (Iranian kitchen) I definitely recommend this place if you want to go out for Persian food. but service should be improved.

The place offers Persian food. and it is a good one in the area. They offer a traditional yogurt drink which is tasty. Totally recommend.

When I came here with my family for the first time, the place was very crowded. Nothing wrong with that, of course. First of all, When we were getting served, my parents were talking about what to get in front of the waitress, and when...my dad considered more than two dishes (for himself) the waitress said it was "too much for us" in her opinion, and the other lady who served us was rude. As well, there were two ladies beside us who waited for their food for an hour, so they were very frustrated and upset. They complained so loud that the manager of the place heard them and went to apologize to them himself, I kind of felt bad but it was also hilarious. When our food came, the kabob barg was so thick we could barely consume all of it, and my mother kept asking for more onions but the waiter and waitress would forget, and they never brought it. The staff treat you like that unexpected guest that you wanna get rid of! The food was below average of the iranian foods in toronto

Life if full of first and this was my first time in a Persian Restaurant. I thought it would be just like the other mid-east places but I was definitely wrong. Persian food is similar with the kebabs, breads, dips but the spices are different...and they like to use nuts in much of their offerings. The combo-2 has three different meats (koobideh, barg, chicken leg) with two large plates of rice. The yogurt dip had mints and cucumber. The eggplant dip (kahsk-e-bademjan) had a medley of flavours in a small dish. Washing down the meal was a couple of malt drinks - istak and a white yogurt type drink (doogh). We also had a ghormeh sabzi - a green mint/meat stew dish and a couple large flat roti like bread. Minus the Sabzi, the meal was great. I just could not get around the spices in the Sabzi. Also, they forgot it and rushed it out and the meat was lumpy and still frozen. We don't normally order this much food but we wanted to try the widest variety so we can really get a feel for Iranian cuisine. Both dips were great, the kebabs were enjoyable and the istak non alcoholic malts was a treat. A definite return trip is in order.More

Love the food here! The kabobs are amazing! Big portions and amazing "made at home" flavours! Very authentic Persian food! And the smells in here are Devine!!

They have the most tender meat, period! Growing up in middle east I've tried many amazing kebabs but I never had one as tender as this!
