A really great place to visit and eat, food was impeccably presented and tasted fabulous. A true representation of great New Zealand food. Feijoa and apple smoothies fabulous. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, it was such a pleasure to visit, lovely walking tracks close by and the perfect place to rest and eat when finished. Highly recommend.

We ended up here quite by accident, and even though a group of Wellington Cafe snobs we were blown away! The coffee was good, the food even better - definitely try the pies. Lots of gluten-free options too. We even came back again on our way back past.

We stopped to have lunch and a walk around the Pelorus bridge. Lots of people swimming and having fun, was so envious. Lunch was lovely at this cafe and the staff were very pleasant. If you have time driving from Blenheim to Nelson this is a must stop and see.

Although we drive often to Nelson, from Blenheim, we never stopped here and now I wonder why we never stopped. It is really a gem. The little cafe has a really nice outdoor area, partly covered. The coffee was good and for a very reasonable price. The carrot cake was good and the fries I saw looked amazing. Combine your... More

Pelorus is a delightful spot, especially on a hot and sunny day, as ours was. There are several walks, of differing lengths, all from the café car park, and two perfect spots for swimming in the Pelorus River. Having spent a few lovely hours aimlessly wandering in and out of the water, what better way to wind off the afternoon... More

On a great place to schedule a short stop between Marlborough and Nelson. Staff are as wholesome as the baking. The food available is genuine kiwi tucker and some of the best in the country. Love this place and scheduled a stopover on a few occasions.

We stopped here for a coffee and light lunch following our morning walk. So glad we did. I was impressed by their range of food choices and how they catered to gf, vegetarian, children, healthy eaters and everyone else. They have a good selection of ice cream (in a cone) or packaged. An impressive variety of pies, including a mussel... More
