I do not compare the Days Inn against The Ritz. I compare based on what it is and the main competition of a claimed similar service level. Nobody is perfect, that does not mean you should not get 5 stars for something small. If I give a very rare 1, avoid at all costs.
As noted, nothing in hospitality or life is perfect and I will point out the positives and negatives. Smart business owners and managers take constructive criticism and use as a tool to improve. Poor business owners and managers will ignore or make a personal attack. Beware of the personal attackers.
