The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
A nice and calm tour, offers a great view of Copacabana Beach ad to the open sea. It has a Army museum and the possibility of having a Brunch or Lunch on the Restaurants (there are two) with outside tables.
Certainly a place to go back

The famous poet Carlos Drummon de Andrade symbolize the life style of "carioca": sitting in the sidewalk, watching the life and the people passing by. Take your picture with him, it is iconic and unforgettable nice to be in Copacabana with this personality. Lovable.

"Both breakfast and dinner were delicious!"
reviewed 5 days ago by Elizabeth37
My husband and I ate several breakfasts here during our stay at the hotel, and the food was very good. The wide selection of food was enough to satisfy just about anyone. We ate one dinner there, and it was delicious. We both had fish selections and shared a yummy dessert trio. The wine selection was reasonably priced, also. I...
the restaurant is nice with some charm. the service team has some ups and a lot of downs unfortunately. the food was good, especially the gnocchis, the seafood pasta and the polenta. choice is very limited and the prices higher than most real gourmet restaurants.
A bit narrow, and noisy... But they served us the best lobsters we had in Rio. Their "Picanha" is excellent, and they have outstanding (beef) Ribs ! Everything we had was great. Service is also excellent. One could find it expensive, but it's a really good value for money, considering what you get.
We had steak with button mushrooms and risotto and it was great. Service was very fast. For what you get it is slightly on the pricy side. It is not worth travelling all the way for it but if you are nearby go for it.
This hotel is a basic 5 star hotel with a nice pool on the roof and a great view. The breakfast was great. The staff were VERY helpful. This hotel is located in a very touristic area by the beach called Copacabana. It can get really crowded in that area.
This is simply the best hotel in rio, not that there are no other good options but this hotel is a live legend and it keeps improving. Rooms are modern and very comfortable, restaurants are among the best in Rio, the pool and the bar are just an amazing place to stay (even if there are some modernization work going...
This is a rebranded property from the Windsor hotel chain. There are some great points to this hotel and some things that need work.
First, the service is top notch. All the staff were warm, friendly and very helpful. Second the breakfast buffet is spectacular and everything was fresh and well laid out. The best part of the breakfast was...
This property is everything that you’d expect from a full service Marriott- and then some. The service and facilities are exemplary; friendly, clean, and upscale. The front office is incredible- the greeters, bellmen, and front desk agents where so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The pool and cabana area on the roof are great, get up there and have...
This hotel faces Copacabana beach and has views of Christ the redeemer to the north west and the sugar loaf to the east. It has a very pleasant rooftop pool and restaurant together with a gym - for these who want to be active! Our room did not face the beach but we still had a good side view,The rooms...
