There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
If you are in Shibuya and walk through Yoyogi park, you will see the Meiji sanctuary which is in my opinion amazing, its big and colorful, many people still follow the traditions so you may see women wearing lovely kimonos or people making offerings and burning sticks. The surrounding park is one of the few in Tokyo and its very...
"A nice tranquil oasis in the megalopolis that is Tokyo"

Good for a pitstop and a repreive from tokyo's never-ending concrete jungle. A definite Japanese flavour to the park with the Torii gate. As with most of Japan, the park is immaculate. Very accessible being right next to the station and so close to the shops.

"Finally we see the statue of Hachiko"
reviewed 2 days ago by BT993TT
We really enjoyed the movie based on Hachiko and am very happy to visit the statue in memory of Hachiko. It was crowded with many tourists taking turns to take photographs with the statue. Strangely, there was a cat snuggling under the statue. It is easy enough to get there as it was less than 3 minutes' walk from the...
Super tasty food and friendly staff speaking good English. We have walked 40 minutes from where we live to this place, but it's def worth it. The beef is so tender, such a diff level to "tender" beef back in the west. Side dishes were good too. If u feel like nice Japanese BBQ beef, this is where u go...
Make a reservation! High quality sea food prepared in abundant portions with a beautiful presentation. Try whatever is recommended! The ambiance is super fun with lots of activity to people watch even though it's a small place.
we waited for 1 hour to get inside the resto. Vending machine will great you once you get in. The ramen was good, order extra noodles for bigger tummies. Add all the extra ingredients, it's worth it. =)
We stayed 3 nights here and we loved it,
It’s 10 minutes walk to shibuya and Harajuku Stations and few steps to a very nice cartier...

"Amazing French cuisine and stunning views at night"
reviewed yesterday by nighut s
We visited the restaurant on the 40+floor
The food was exquisite and the views spectacular. This place is 15 minute walk from the main shibuya crossing.
They accommodated our dietary requirements and the main course was some of the best fish I have eaten - soaked in butter may have helped!
Although we booked a five course meal it felt...
The location is really unbeatable. You go down and after a few meters, you're at the scramble. Walking distance to everything downtown Shibuya has to offer. I specially like that's its very near Mega Don K. The hotel rooms are small which makes it difficult for travelers with big luggage. The toilet and bath is clean but old. Service is...
hotel is on good location, and there is good indian resorant near hotel. the rapoongi metro station is around 1to 1.5 km from hotel.balle salle shibuya first is also upto 1.5km from hotel.famous shibuya metro station also 3 to 4 km from hotel.you can see a famous tower within 3km.
Spacious (for Tokyo), clean, quiet rooms. Decent bathrooms with showers with good pressure. Excellent location. The front desk was always exceptional and friendly.
The WiFi is WhyBother. On the upper floors it drops out constantly.
The breakfasts are the worst I've had anywhere. I reflexively spit out my scrambled eggs. And, no, making a...
