Take some of Asia’s biggest malls, hundreds of street-side vendors and a dozen of posh hotels and you’ll have Siam - Bangkok’s commercial district that will make any shopper’s heart beat faster. From cheap electronics and wholesale goods in MBK to designer handbags in Siam Paragon, you’re almost guaranteed to find what you’re looking for in one of Siam’s many malls. Take a break from the commercial craze and visit the beautiful Jim Thompson house or the state-of-the-art Bangkok Arts and Cultural Centre to recharge.
Managed to get to the snake park just as they they had started milking the cobras so stopped and watched that. So many interesting fact were shared. Got to walk around and look through the collection of live specimens then went upstairs to learn more. Wonderful displays of skeletons, skins, and some great videos about the snake life in Thailand....
Free entry and takes around 1 to 2 hours to go around. The place is massive and has about 7 or 8 floors. The building is mostly open galleries but has small cafes and shops on the lower levels. We got a hand sketch done for 300bht by one of the artists. They have a large exhibition on refugees until...
I had been to London Madame Tussauds , comparing to that Bangkok's one is small - however it is really decent and well maintained museum of Wax statues , It has almost all the Global leaders from Asia , America and Europe followed by celebrities from Western and Eastern part of the world.
Using the waterways is an extremely cheap and atmospheric way to get around Bangkok. You need to be fairly secure of your footing getting on an off, but this pair of 70+ had no problems and felt like locals. Avoid peak hours though if you want to disembark at some of the lesser used stops.

Was at Red Sky bar, and it started raining! So we all ran into the Uno Mas bar.... Amazing place. Mr Hut took such good care of us, window seat, amazing views, top service! Great waiter, music and views!

We just came from a 4-night stay at Pathumwan Princess Hotel. We had an amazing time! The hotel is still very clean and it was exactly how I remembered it when we stayed here in 2008.
We had a very delicious all-u-can eat barbecue dinner at Kongju. We also had breakfast twice at the hotel. The food was great. In...
