Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighbourhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.

"Cute!"

Found this by accident when we got lost but what a find. The church is beautiful and free to enter. The neighbourhood around the area is also fantastic and has some lovely cafés. Far better than the typical tourist spots.
Not only the church but also its surroundings are beautiful. Chill place, much less crowded than the more famous places in Prague. Recommend for people who want to scape the beaten track.
The church is nice. The clock is the coolest part. I didn't go inside or anything. It's surrounded by a nice park. That's where I hung out for a couple of hours. There is a farmers market there if you go on the right day.
One of those buildings that has been refitted to look very modern inside while keeping the older outer shell- very clever.
Some rather expensive looking shops here that would be nice for a browse and a (normal price) supermarket in the basement where I bought a snack.
I needed the toilet and the very kind security guard unlocked them- not...
This Hussite church built in constructivist style in the 1930s is a hidden gem that you miss if you only explore the old town of Prague. If you have the time to explore some of the outer districts and if you can appreciate modern, minimalist architecture, I absolutely recommend visiting this church.
The minimalist church tower is topped by a...

If you want to eat a good steak, you should go to this place. The waiter told us, which steak could be well-done and which one medium. Local beer also was ok. Thank you.

We had dinner in this cozy restaurant. I have to say that it went far beyond expectation! We ordered chicken and duck and they both were amazing: tasty, flavored and very well cooked. I ordered also a glass of Primitivo and it was good too. And don't miss the pea soup!
The waiter was so friendly, he made us feel...

High expectations, reading the scoring for Sova, fully confirmed at the end, and this is not so usual.
If you wish a great dinner based on basic materials of the tradition cleverly crafted in an innovative manner this location is for you.
Extremely care for details, sophisticated dish up, quite place for conversation, far away from the mess of the...
We stayed at this lovely hotel for a week. It's just perfect. All staff are so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and will set you up nicely for the sights and sounds of this amazing city.
Our room was spacious and airy and most important of all...quiet.
My only small disappointment was the lack of tea and...
We booked our stay through Tripmasters.com and had to make a decision after reading a few sentences of discription. We we not disappointed. The front desk staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms were comfortable. The breakfasts were tasty and offered a good variety of choices. Public transportation was nearby and there were many restaurants in walking distance of...
Our group of six stayed in early June at the commencement of our European tour. Mamaison proved to be the perfect starting point after a grueling 26 hour journey from Oz.. All three couples opted for a one bedroom apartment. Turned out to be a great call as it gave us the additional space we felt we would need. While...
Located only 7 minutes walk from the subway and only a few stops to the heart of the old town and not far from a tram line, clean and comfortable with helpful and friendly staff. Organised our ongoing bus booking for us which was very handy. Bed comfortable, quiet street at night, hot water with good pressure, heating and cooling...
Good relation quality - place. Near Praga Center. Very good breakfast. Room clean but small. Friendly and nice staff. Recommended for traveling alone as a couple or family. Dificult acces to rooms, there are a too many stairs
