Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place simply buzzes, and the well-preserved buildings exude a sense of Imperial China stemming from immigration over a century ago. In restaurant after restaurant on Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes such as sizzling honeyed prawns, and value for your money. Stately matrons oversee family kitchens serving up age-old recipes. The lighting may be unromantic, the patrons loud, and the service no-nonsense, but the food is sensational.
have not actually been inside but have sat outside here a few times to enjoy the city views as it is right at the top of city. looks beautiful of a night illuminated and next door to gardens and lots of restaurants and theatres
Although small this Museum is displayed well and very interesting. I am fascinated with the history of Quong Tart and was very surprised to see a display about him. Spread over three levels with a lift to take you to the top floor it was fascinating with many lovely displays. The dragon is amazing and very intricately decorated with an...
A historical place located in the CBD of Melbourne.
Great architecture with the buildings and Chinatown archers.
Chinatown has food, shopping, arcades and lots more.
Would highly recommend a visit here.
"Excellent range and exceptional customer service"

As a Tour Guide in Melbourne I regularly recommend Original & Authentic Aboriginal Art because of the exceptional customer service they provide to people I recommend, I've always received positive feedback. They have a wide range of canvas artworks, jewellery and other forms of art at many price points, so it's a good place to visit for some authentic Aboriginal...
We were able to book for the CBD location as it was lunch time but even with a booking were still seated at the bar - so be warned. Service was quick and 5 dishes for $59 was good value. All four steak/pork options were excellent but the barramundi was dry and let the meal down.

My husband and I ended up at Longrain for dinner after a show. There was a 35 min wait for a table but we were able to grab a drink upstairs at Longsong and then received an SMS when our table was ready.
We were seated at the bar which was fine and in itself very entertaining. Our orders were...

"Pre Show Dinner"

The food here is so good. We had an early dinner pre show. This was explained and very easily accommodated. The vegetarian risotto was excellent. Full of surprise flavor bursts and textures - delicious. The spinach salad so fresh and again lots of textures and flavours. Others enjoyed the lamb with the spinach salad and beef. All complemented with a...

Overall charmed by this modern and innovative approach to inner city accommodation. Room was a good size and very comfortable. The bed wasn’t super comfy and the pillows were thicker than the mattress! Had to improvise with towels...
This is a good hotel in a great location (Chinatown) but could do with some little things. I had a one bed apartment which was really spacious. Could do with a master switch for all the lights as it took forever to switch them off. Only complimentary water in the room was tap - just one free bottle would have...
Just an overnight stay close to a client so I wasn't after all be bells and whistles, location was the key. Staff were exceptional, very friendly and courteous which made check-in and out a breeze. Room was cosy and comfortable with impeccable bathroom. Bed super comfy so all in all an excellent experience.
Would be perfect for a weekend in...
I stayed for a few nights to be close to the theatre and tennis- Australian Open. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast provisions were good with a small kitchen to prepare it. It is tucked away so it is very quiet but very close to things. A nice coffee shop next door and plenty of food options as...
This hotel is pretty nice. We stayed in a large 2 bed apartment. The beds were very comfortable and its at a good central location. Nice and clean. The only real problem I had was we all nearly slipped in the shower/bath. There needs to be a matt or something in there. Overall lovely though!!!
