A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
From the centre of Manly we took 2.5 hours to walk up to the North Head Sanctuary and return.
There are steep stretches at the start and end of the walk but the rest is fairly flat. It’s an easy walk for anyone of reasonable fitness.
There wasn’t as much wild life as I expected but we did enjoy seeing...
NOW heres a place thats the real deal, Haunted indeed!. I've visited this place and it's down right spooooky. As a matter of fact I used to live on Cove Ave near this place for a few years and the house had ghosts. But not the type of ghosts you think of, no, this ghost had an odour, a very...
They helped us plan our week of activities. Gave us maps and explained the walks to us and roughly how long they would take. Plenty of local knowledge. Gave us heaps of ideas what to see and do. The walk from Manly beach to Shelly Beach then onto North Head Sanctuary was fantastic
Fairly vibrant restaurant in Manly close to the wharf.
We really enjoyed the quality and variety of the tapas courses - Prawns, cauliflower salad, calamari, scallops and lamb kebabs.
We were really looking forward to the lamb shoulder having read the reviews - what a disappointment - it was incredibly sweet, dry and chewy - not the melt in the...
Great spot to stay if you don't drive as everything is an easy walk. Especially the ferries. Lots of restaurants, bars and great coffee shops. Nice views from the apartment which is nicely decked out. The only issue is the noise from party goers, cars etc but especially the buses which reverberate through the room! But if heading out for...
Awesome , staff were fantastic and an excellent spot.
Great disability room but may not suit everyone- great for high level disability guests.
Would be ideal to have disabled parking just near room outside as our vehicle did not fit in the car park.
Work planning day around 80 staff met at Q station- first location is amazing as is the view and the animal life. Great long walks, swims, bars and food venues. There is. It much diversity but what they have sufficed and you felt far away, safe and part of nature. The accomodation was pretty good say high 3 star. Service...
My wife and I enjoyed a relaxing 2 nights at the property. Staff were friendly, room was clean and location fantastic near the beach and many restaurants. Hotel is a little tired. Rooftop pool very refreshing after a swim at the beach and has a lovely view. Followedup by booking a conference there for my team.
The location of this place is great, right on the beach.
The room was clean although the bathroom was tiny. Great for 1 or 2 nights but I think you'd struggle for space if you stayed longer.
There was a basic kitchen area but served the purpose fine.
Only criticism was the windows are single glazed so you can hear...
