The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
Well worth the trip and close to the middle of Paris! The medieval items in this museum were stunning. Of course the object of the trip to this museum was the Unicorn Tapestries but the other tapestries, chapel, metal and fabric crafts were educational and amazing. Lovely, lovely, lovely. AND there was hardly any wait at all!

Such a beautiful place! Famous brilliant minds burried here. Pendulum hanging from the gorgeous ceiling shows the movement of the Earth. This monument has such amazing history. Metamorphosis from religious use to Liberalist use after the French Revolution, adapting and changing the painted murals. Next door the a chapel dedicated to Saint Genevieve. A must see.

"Beautiful photo opportunity without the crowds"

This church is an absolutely stunning gem, practically hiding behind the Panthéon. The external architecture could rival most major cathedrals, but it's the inside that's most amazing. The church houses the tomb of Saint Genevieve, and they spared no expense in presenting the tomb in a gold filigree housing in an ornate wooden chamber with detailed stained glass windows.

Astonishing, large, and inspiring display of animal skeletons (and more) organised in to animal families. Utterly inspirational to see our cousins - being exposed to these similarities and differences is a great aid to understanding, and can be truly important for understanding our spiritual place in the world.
This little gem is a 5 min walk from Notre-Dame Cathedral, with a warm atmosphere, great service and delicious food. We enjoyed a tasting menu and loved every bit of it. Definitely recommend for lunch or dinner, but make sure to book in advance, as it's quite popular.
I have stayed in a lot of hotels around the world however this one has to be at the top of my preferences. The hotel is pure luxury with a homely styled modern feel. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff were helpful and very accommodating. The staff even helped my husband surprise me for Valentine’s Day and my...
Great location with excellent service. We would definitely stay here again. Located within walking distance of many things you will want to see in Paris such as the Latin Quarter, Notre Dame, Shakespeare and Company Bookstore, La Seine, and Lexembourg Gardens!
Perfect place located near the Pantheon and Luxembourg Gardens. Located very close to the Luxembourg RER/Metro station but we actually enjoyed making the stroll many of the sites. We loved our room and pleasantly surprised to actually see the Eiffel Tower from it. Would certainly recommend.

I have been staying in this hotel each time that I come to Paris for business... beside the location (which is beautiful and very convenient) I like the properness of the place and the professionalism of the staff always willing to go an extra-mile to help; during my last stay I forgot a pair of earrings which were found by...
Small boutique hotel in great location in St Germain. Although Paris was cold & snowy while we there there, the room was comfy & warm. Breakfast was as advertised and available until quite late. Would recommend Atmosheres to couples seeking a more romantic option.
