11月の紅葉シーズンには、山門から見上げる約8万坪もの境内が、山の緑をバックに赤・緑・黄色に彩られ、まるで一幅の絵画のような絶景が広がる。また11月中の土日祝は日没後に夜間特別ライトアップが行われ、昼の厳かな雰囲気とは趣の異なる幻想的な世界を堪能できる。
