Thanks for your stay at Le Chateau and for taking time to write a review. We're glad you enjoyed the Ballroom. Every time I check someone into that room I remember how, at seventeen, I had to strip and refinish all the woodwork in that room! It took me about 2 weeks. You are correct that regulating the temperature throughout a big old Victorian mansion can be a challenge. Our central air system was updated this spring and the new system did it's job a bit too well for a few days before we got it all straightened out. We do keep extra blankets and pillows in every room, but we encourage guests to contact us if there is anything we can do to make their stay more comfortable. We appreciate you sharing your comments and suggestion regarding the blankets... it is by listening to our guests that we learn everything we need to know about running our business.
