WINE | FAMILY | FOOD The Gilbert family is passionate about fine wine, their family heritage tradition and delicious local produce. The Cellar by Gilbert is their tasting room, located just on the edge of town in Mudgee. Offering guests, the chance to enjoy both current and museum released Gilbert wines, international wines, craft beer, Mudgee’s High Valley cheeses and small plates to share. OPEN, Sunday – Thursday: 10 am to 4 pm, Friday & Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm with share platters available Wednesday – Sunday. Each Saturday from May to September, The Cellar by Gilbert hosts ‘Food over Fire’ by Pip Sumbak. This unique and immersive, 4-course long lunch is cooked over an open fire pit. The food reflects the seasonal produce of the area with its 'Farm to table' focus. Gilbert Wine and craft beer flights are available to perfectly match the food experience.
