Thankyou for your feedback and review Debra I. Pounamu Apartments are very popular, for couples, honeymooners, corporate travellers to a family of four. Our website has a great gallery of images and layout plans of each Apartment that gives potential Guests the opportunity to view prior to booking with us. The images display the shutters open allowing you to enjoy the spectacular views from the 1 Bedroom. The shutters are designed to shut out the light, but are not to shut out any noise from the lounge area. The Apartments are noise insulated with double glazed glass as per the normal building standards for accommodation buildings including Hotels. And yes, being situated on Frankton Road, we do get some road noise, but the views are worth it and generally unnoticeable.
