    The ruins of this Moorish castle dates back to the 8th Century and it was badly damaged during the great earthquake of 1755. Then King Ferdinand II during the transformation of the Sintra area restored the castle so that he could look at it from his Sena Palace. Take the 434 tourist to save you the steep walk uphill.
