Dear "AussieGirl1985", I'm glad to see it was an easy drive (some complain about that). Summer in Tuscany is usually pretty hot but that's why we have a beautiful pool to enjoy, as you did. Bug spray is useful but it's strange as this year we sprayed twice against mosquitos. We don't keep milk out of fridge as with this hot don't last more than 2 hours!! Together with B&B rooms we also have self catering (rented weekly) and I'm sorry to see you went to visit other wineries and not the one you were staying in. Maybe next time!
