Thank you for your review. I was obviously disappointed to read your comments and can only apologise for what was an unsatisfactory room. We are constantly refurbishing bedrooms and these family rooms were due to be started towards the end of August, we did suffer a maintenance issue the morning of your arrival which is why it was difficult to move you on the day. This room has now been taken out of service and the work has begun. Again I’m sorry this issue arose and it just made it difficult for us to do anymore, although we did our best to offer you other rooms in the hotel and the room you mention in your review is easily large enough for an extra bed, we use them all the time (they are newly refurbished) and never have any complaints. I think the issue for you here was the stairs, which I understand but we didn’t have anything else to offer you. I have to disagree with your feedback on the service from reception, we treat all of our guests in the same way and the team offer the highest standard of customer service at every opportunity. I feel your being a little unfair when it comes to our service in general and I can assure you families are welcomed and looked after in exactly the same way as everyone else, I have two young children myself as do many of our employees and we often use ideas from home to enhance the experience of our younger guests!
