Really lives up to its "placid" name!
First of all, tone down all expectations of Bantayan Island. It's an island ~3hrs drive from Cebu City, and it was just ravaged by supertyphoon Haiyan in 2013. It is no Boracay and the lack of the party atmosphere and "urban-ness" is what makes it charming. Accomodations are…
