Had an excellent time with Chris as our guide. He made everyone comfortable, consistently took time for questions, and gave us all a relaxing time doing something a little different from the every day norm. Five stars. Chris only does the morning tours if you want a fantastic guide, but I’m sure the others are almost as good!

We booked our kayak tour of Shell Key Preserve specifically to be able to do the night time kayak to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Carmen was our guide, who was knowledgeable, friendly, thoughtful, and an absolute PRO at capturing all aspects of our trip with her camera (later sharing the photos with us)! I highly recommend the night time kayak if you are interested in learning more about the unique features of the Florida coast, seeing wildlife, and having a fantastic guide from start to finish.

This was our first time kayaking and our guide Chris was amazing! We were able to see cormorants, terns, ospreys, a bald Eagle, brown pelicans, white pelicans, a stingray and even a pink flamingo! We made a stop at Shell Island, which was beautiful, to make a wish and hang a shell on the tree. This tour is an absolute must when visiting the area!

Had an exceptional time with our guide Jada. She taught us about the Floridian wildlife and was noticeably eager to point things out (especially with her interest in marine biology). We rowed with the egrets and saw dolphins! I’m hoping to go again with a better camera. Don’t hesitate. Book now!

My teenage son said that this ranked among the top two experiences he has ever had. We were lucky to have gone early in the day and saw some dolphins right away. The cormorants that swam alongside the kayaks were fun and funny - a big hit with the 16 month old, and our eleven year old was in shell heaven on the island. Our guide, Less, was so fantastic! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and provided shell bags for the kids along with some really cool experiences that only a well trained eye could provide. She filmed the dolphins, birds, and snail for us and shared the footage later via text. We got way more than we bargained for with Less as our guide! Thank you!

We had the BEST adventure tonight- a sunset kayak trip with our guide, Jada. She was very knowledgeable, telling us about the mangroves, birds and wildlife. We Saw a manatee- ( nearly tipped over the guide, ) a sand shark, mullet jumping out of the water, birds swimming next to us, catching and eating fish. She took us into a mangrove and shows us black -it was amazing!. 82 degrees, no wind and a full moon!!! It was gorgeous🥰

What a great experience! Ben was a wonderful guide, both friendly and very knowledgeable. We saw a couple of manatees at the launch site, a couple of dolphins and many different types of birds. It was a beautiful day to explore and we really enjoyed the trip.

Ben was a fantastic tour guide. He is knowledgeable of the area and we had a lot of fun on our trip. He was particularly patient with my 12 yo autistic daughters numerous questions and interruptions. I would have loved to share some of the photos and videos my daughter took on our go pro, but somehow it was deleted on the way home. These memories will have to live in our minds and we look forward to another trip soon!

Terrific kayak tour! Les is very knowledgeable about the bird sanctuary, the critters below and above the water, and the changes. She was an excellent guide and hope to do another tour with her again. Really fun trip out to the beach area across the sanctuary.

We went kayaking for 2 hours with Chris at 9 am on Sunday November 13, 2023. The tour was the perfect amount of time to get a little experience of everything. We were able to kayak in shallow & deep waters, explore a beach & swim, and travel through 2 mangrove tunnels. There was an abundance of beautiful wildlife including cormorants, white pelicans, dolphins, and many fish species. Chris was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and had plenty of water for everyone. I highly recommend this tour along with Chris as a guide!
