    The Opportunity of a Lifetime
We had the opportunity to take advantage of an early morning before the park opened tour of Animal Kingdom. The park, before dawn, is quite amazing. The calls of the birds to each other and all the sounds of the animals calling to each other was really beautiful. The walkways are painted with fluorescent paint so the tiniest bit of light cause the pathways to glow. We had an early morning breakfast at Sutilli and then went on Kilimanjaro Safari. The food was excellent and the theming was on point. I highly recommend going on the Safari as early as possible. The line becomes incredibly long. It is 100% worth going on as I’ve never seen so many animals out in the wild. It was the most stunning ride and the highlight of my trip. We followed that up by going on the trail to Gorilla Falls and saw a mother and baby gorilla interacting together. Absolutely amazing! We took the Rafiki train to an area of the park where they give drawing classes and where there is a petting zoo to pet donkeys and goats. It was very it was so much fun to watch young children interact with the animals. This is a very different type of Disney experience, but one I hope to repeat again soon.

Amazing Place that is as Much a Zoo as it is an Amusement Park
Animal Kingdom is awesome and is so much more than just an amusement park. It is also one of the best zoological parks in the country and Disney does a great job of intertwining both. Some of the best rides in all of Disney are here including Avatar Flight of Passage and Expedition Everest. With the exception of DinoLand USA, the theming throughout the park is outstanding. You would think you're on a real savannah in Kenya rather than Central Florida while on Kilimanjaro Safaris. As with all the Disney parks, arrive early 30-40 minutes before rope drop and have a plan. Head to Avatar or Expedition Everest as your first ride followed by Kilimanjaro Safaris and then use Genie + and Lightening Lanes throughout the day. Remember that Expedition Everest has a single rider line that can save you much wait time.

    A great family day out
The last time we visited Animal Kingdom was 2015. 2024 and it was still a great experience. Helpful guest services reps and have the whole parking your car and getting through the entrance gate’s down to a T.

    Don't miss the Avatar simulator
Very good park. Arrive early and rush to the Avatar simulator attraction. Then do other cool attractions. You can usually do everything in one morning. Then you enjoy it and rest in the afternoon. It's a good day to alternate between other parks.

Lots of animals to see, tasty food too!
The safari truck ride was excellent! We were able to view a number of animals and get pictures. We also rode the Yeti coaster, which was the most intense ride I have experienced at a Disney park. The Avatar ride was also a riveting experience!

    So much fun!
Animal Kingdom is such a wonderful park! This was the last Disney World park that we hadn't been to together and we were excited to finally visit it. The park opens and closes earlier than the other parks because of the animals, so we got in early and were able to go on the safari early before it got too hot. Corra, the new baby elephant, was on the tour and she was just the cutest little elephant. The safari was great overall and it was so nice to see all of the animals. The rides are also very fun and we really enjoyed Expedition Everest and the Avatar Flight of Passage in particular. The animal treks were lovely and it was a nice change of pace to basically casually stroll through a zoo versus running from ride to ride. Food and drinks at Animal Kingdom are fantastic and we loved the watermelon lemonade and mango-passioonfruit cheesecake at Harambe Market, Rum Blossom cocktail and Mo'ara margarita at Pongu Pongu, Prickly pear margarita at Dawa Bar, and everything at Tiffins. Animal Kingdom is a great hybrid of amusement park and zoo and it's one we will definitely visit again!

    fun zoo
It doesn't matter if you get a fast pass for this place, it's all finished in one day, but you'll have to wait in line for a long time. It's definitely worth watching Nemo and the Lion King shows. Don't leave without having a wonderful experience with Avatar. You don't need to arrive very early, but it will read better if you try to stay late.

    More Relaxed
We came here on a chilly day over spring break. We had already been to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios on this trip, so the pace here was much slower, which we liked a lot. Wait times were average for what we wanted to do. We rode the safari and made a trip to Rafiki’s Planet Watch where we completed an animation session. We all enjoyed that. We rode the safari again in the evening and we walked right on. We dined at Yak and Yeti and had a lot of wonderful snacks. Of course, The Festival of the Lion King show is a must see too.

    Lots to see and door
The entire family had a fabulous time and all ages were catered for. We chose the safari bus on arrival and although we had a bit of a wait, it was worth it. The tree of life is very impressive and the Dino ride was loved by the younger members of our party.

    Amazing park!!
One of my favourite Disney parks! The day was magical from start to finish. Our strategy was to get a lightning lane for Flight of Passage and head straight to the safari, which I highly recommend! It is best to do the safari in the morning when the animals are more active! Pandora is absolutely unreal!!! Possibly my favourite land of all Disney lands! The Avatar rides were absolutely incredible, flight of passage was so immersive, and Na'vi river journey was stunningly beautiful! What an amazing addition to this park. Of course it was very busy, and it was a shame that we didn't get to ride Everest as it closed when we were in the queue, and the rapids were also closed. Apart from that, a magical day and wonderful memories made!
