We ended up with a few days in Zanzibar in a magnificent little hotel in Jambiani facing the Indian Ocean, pure happiness. We spent 15 wonderful days in Tanzania! Left as a group of 3 at the end of February 2024, we chose to do 7 days of safari and 6 days in Zanzibar following the program prepared by Virginie from Khibowhy Safari! An easy and reassuring contact on his part largely reassured us in advance on all the questions we had in order to prepare our trip. Everything was perfect on site: hotel, transfer, activity, guide… Paul was our guide and with his knowledge combined with his impeccable French this allowed us to see the big five in 1 day during our visit to the Ngonrogo crater! Sad to have to leave our guide, we left for Zanzibar where the Balladin hotel on the beach was the ideal place for a well-deserved meal after a week of safari! For my part it was my second trip to Tanzania with Virginie and Kelvin☺️ To summarize my Trips in 1 word: unforgettable! The first trip in covid period had not allowed us to be in contact with the local population, during this second trip we stayed in one of the Sonjo tribes, a moment of enriching sharing! Go get water to cook and wash, go get wood to make a fire, .. a return to the sources that feels good! As for the safari, it was magical! With our super Guide Paul, we made several parks such as the Serengeti tarangire and the Ngorogoro crater. More surprising encounters than each other with lions, elephants and many others sometimes accompanied by their young 😊.
