The visit lasts about 1 hour. You buy the tickets and choose the language (English or Spanish) and quickly form the groups for the visit. The entrance costs 15 soles and the teacher pays half the entrance with the holerite. The visit is rich in information, the Guide was friendly and answered with enthusiasm all the questions asked to her. The ruins are mixed with the buildings, as the city swallowed much of the ruin. Bizarre to know that the two squares outside the ruins were the stage of human sacrifice.

Uito organized. The museum is quite small, but the archaeological site is large and has a guided tour in English and Spanish. The entire visit lasts about 30 minutes. It's very enriching! Value is 15 soles per person.

The guided tour of the site (in English or Spanish) is beautiful and lasts about 1 hour and is in fact compulsory (with a tip highly recommended to be added to the cost of the ticket). It is worth visiting before seeing the main archaeological sites of Peru. The visit is very pleasant and exhaustive, and the guide is essential to understand the function of the different structures, as there are no panels or other signs. I definitely recommend it when visiting Lima, reachable on foot from the Miraflores neighborhood.

The archaeological site of Huaca Pucllana may not be as cool as others we find in the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, but it is a super cool experience to know a site that is located in the middle of the Peruvian capital. The entrance costs 15 soles (R$ 22,50) the whole and 7.5 soles (R$ 11,25) the half. The tour is guided, with options for visits in Spanish and English. The Guide really provides various legal information about the places visited. For more tips on our trip to Peru, follow @viviajando31 on Instagram.

This site has a rich history and our guide Saskia delivered it in an informative and interesting way. You can only see the site on a guided tour and many operate daily, back to back. Saskia kept up the pace, working off a well-practiced script, delivered with warmth and humour. Huaca Pucllana is a unique site and if you're in Lima it's certainly worth seeing set as it is against a big city backdrop. I also enjoyed seeing the group of alpacas and llamas at the end of the tour. The figures used to illustrate the ancient practices of the Limas are good for demonstration purposes if a little cheesy. The museum attached to the site is pretty basic - I'd have liked to see more of the relics that have been found on the site but apparently most are kept in a lab under temperature controlled conditions. Fair enough.

I took the night tour and it was really cool! The guide spoke in Spanish and English and was very attentive. It was really cool to learn about the history of Lima! I was just a little disappointed because we didn't climb to the top of the pyramids (I think because it wasn't lit). Night time costs PEN 17.00 and daytime PEN 15.00. You need to book through the website.

The excavation for this site started in 1981 and it is still going on. The ruins date back to somewhere between 450-650 AD. Entry to this site is via guided tours which cost 15 Soles. The site was built as a purpose for ceremonial ground by Lima natives. The site was abandoned between 650-750 AD. Between 750-900 AD, it was used by Wari people for burials. The royalty members were buried at high platforms in sitting positions with their legs bent and essentials were kept alongside. Between 1100-1450 AD, Yschma people used the site to perform rituals on lower platforms and burials on higher platforms. The site never used to be inhabited by people and it later got buried under hill before the excavation started. If you are a history buff, then this site is a must visit in your Lima it itinerary. Guided tours are available in both Spanish and English.

Only a small portion of this ancient pyramid has been excavated. You must take a guided tour, which is available in English. It is an easy walk through the levels that are available for viewing. We recommend this inexpensive tour that offers a discount to foreign seniors.

Tourist location within the city of Lima, possible to walk for those staying in Miraflores, walking approximately 30 minutes depending on where you are. It is worth knowing this little piece of history. Don't be fooled by the cloudy day, be protective because you are in a beach town and the mormass is burning.

Beautiful place, full of history. Second time I've been to this museum, and I would return. This walk in the heart of Miraflores allows you to learn more about the civilizations before the Inca that inhabited the city, such as the Lima, the Wara and the Ichma. On one side there is a very expensive restaurant with a view of the ruins, but going there is not mandatory.
