Nice zoo but don't expect Taronga Zoo.
Nice place to visit. Good to get there early to have breakfast with the animals. You get to have your photo taken with a number of animals including Orang-utans. Take the free train ride around the zoo to see all the areas then once finished, go for a walk. Several shows are scheduled during the day.

    Singapore Zoo
This was our first visit to Singapore Zoo and were looking forward to it with high expectations from people who have visited over the past 20 years. Thankfully, our visit lived up to our expectations. The layout of the zoo is very good, with excellent access to all area. A free shuttle service is available within the park to help visitors get around. The zoo was very clean and tidy, gardens well manicured, but also giving a jungle feel. Plenty of refreshment options are available and also plenty of places to sit if you wish to bring your own food. The animals have good enclosures to roam in, without feeling like they are locked in cages. The information provided at each enclosure is good and multilingual. There’s a good variety of animals on display and they all looked happy and healthy. We also enjoyed some of the keeper talks and the keepers were more than happy to answer questions during the day. Access to the zoo is easy. We caught the MRT to Khatib, then the Khatib to Mandai shuttle. Definitely recommend visiting here

    A good few hours
I loved this zoo. All the animals were out and active. My main reason for going was the orangutans. Its well set out. All the enclosures were clean. It's wheel chair friendly, and a regular team runs throughout the day. We didn't use it. It's easy to get to. We used a taxi. From raffles to the zoo, it cost us 24 dollars. We loved "the rainforest fights back show too," an inspirational message given.

    Wonderful Visit
My boy had a fall while he was playing at the new Kidzworld got injured himself quite badly. Denise from the team assist to apply first-aid. She was professional and caring towards my toddler. Thank you so much for rendering first-aid. The new kidzworld was fantastic and we enjoyed ourselves at the zoo minus the accident that my boy had.

Must visit if you come to Singapore
Singapore is a very warm place, i choose to visit the Singapore Zoo is a very good experience as the place is huge with lots of animals. They have feeding sessions but will need to pay a small fee. Take the brochures at entrance so you know the feeding time as you need to plan the route when exploring the zoo.

    Love it!
Although we've been to the Singapore zoo several times, it never fails to amaze me. Never boring, always so well kept and fascinating. The water play area is also so fun. Can't wait to visit again!

One of the best and most expensive zoos I’ve visited
Very impressive zoo. But pricing is exorbitant. We visited the River Wonders park, which I liked slightly more, and it cost me a small fortune. Despite this, we had a very nice day and were treated well by the weather gods. The train is very handy to get around the zoo, as distances were big. We used it while it rained. We will need to go back to discover more of this massive zoo.

Must-visit for animal lovers, young and old!
The Singapore Zoo is an institution in Singapore over the decades literally before I was born. I’ve been going since a child and now I’m excited to enjoy it again this time with our own child 👦🏻 I love the zoo’s focus on conservation of the various species and welfare for each of the animal exhibits. The shows were amazing like that by Pedro the sea lion 🦭 The giraffes, tiger, and elephants were all so majestic. Please book online early so you can also book limited feeding sessions. A lot of the zoo is not sheltered so hopefully there’s not too rainy weather when you visit; we happened to be there on a perfect day! The tram is really helpful too so enjoy that. Kids below 3 enter free. The carpark is sheltered and really spacious too. Eating options are there too. Thank you so much, we will be back again to try exploring everything! 🙏🏻

    Wonderful experience
Fabulous experience. We had bought the tickets and added the Mystical Bar F&B. We arrived at 7:15 and walked right onto a tram. We got back in a long line at 8 because I had trouble walking. We saw way more animals at 8. Then we started looking for the Tipi and we’re told it was a 25 minute walk down a dark path. We told one of the employees I could not walk that far and they got me a golf cart and drove me to the tipi. Then arranged for the tram to stop and take me back! Everyone was so helpful and accommodating! Thank you!

    A nice day out
Loved the Zoo and the kids had a wonderful time too. Very clean and beautiful gardens. A big thanks to the staff member who had a chat about the wild monkeys, lucky we were not chased for long. Loved the presentations and the tram. I did feel some of the enclosures were a bit small.
