Good place, if you don't mind staying in line all day
There is a lot of fun stuff that you can do here. You can eat nice foods too, there are a lot of things that you have to pay extra for. A LOT cheaper than Disney. But the lines that you stay on, it is bad. If you stay there a whole day and 80-90 percent of your time is standing in line, that is not the perfect day

understaffed, top runs out of service
We visited OP second time, first time was in 2019. Rides are short, changeover process slow and inefficient, and often carts or floats sitting 6-9 people are only filled with one or two riders - all this leading to long queues. Also, several rides are temporarily or permanently out of service, such as Abyss, two rollercoasters in Marine World as well as the dolphin show (see pictures). Over all rather disappointing. The aquarium and panda encounter are very good, though. Also easy to reach my MTR.

    A fun experience
It was a nice experience, the place was huge. We had fun riding the cable cars. The park was not jam packed with people as well, easy to walk around. But the park definitely looks OLD, was a bit disappointed since it was my first time visiting the park. It badly needs renovation.

One last time for old times sake!
We came 'en famille' for one last hurrah late last year1 And Ocean Park did not disappoint. The jewel of the south had something for everyone, and a wonderful time was had by all, tinged as it were with some degree of bittersweet nostalgia. The highlight was still the hair-raising Headland rides! Still a thrill!

Huge park. Be prepared to walk
We bought the tickets from K**k and it was much cheaper than buying directly from OP. The park was huge and despite seeing the huge crowd waiting at the entrance before opening, the queue was short. We didn’t wait long for cable car and Carousel. This park caters to both the young and old. It has animals like penguins, fish, pandas ,etc for the young children and thrill rides for the older ones. I wish there were more thrill rides (kiddy version) for the little ones. It was very cold and windy up the mountain so be prepared for thick jackets and ear muffs. There is a Mac d kiosk near the rainforest and some seats.

    Giant pandas!
A classic family park. Don't expect the slickness of the Mouse House. It was quiet at the start of January, which suited us. Queues for the thrill attractions were short. The main animal attraction was the giant pandas (of course). The Arctic / Antarctic areas were good too. Buy tickets online.

    Could have been better
We were surprised by the online discount for tickets, but this was explained by a significant proportion of attractions, areas, and even vending machines out of order or closed. Parts of the park looked run down and food prices were high. Attraction highlights were the pandas, the cable car, the aquarium. A lot of walking is involved, some of it quite steep. The online map is not particularly useful for English speaking visitors.

Starting to feel a bit old and run down.
I came here 16 years ago, 10 years ago, and last week. It's starting to feel a little 1990's now. The aquarium was as beautiful as always, and the pandas were lovely to see. The cable car was also great. That said, the coasters were reminiscent of Blackpool Pleasure Beach with the rust and ricketyness. Aspects of the park are in dire need of an update, including the restaurant at the top of the cable car, which was overly expensive and outdated feeling. It's worth a visit, but for such a well-known park of Hong Kong it's really not worth the 1000 HKD (£100) I paid for us both to visit. We comfortably seen most things within 2 hours.

    Fab visit
Our extended family of 4 adults and 4 children (ranging from ten to 6 years old) visted here during the busy Chinese New Year holidays. This is a fantastic park with animals, shows, rides and lots to do for all ages. We focused on seeing the aqualife in the aquarium and shark exhibit. We moved on to the penguins and artic foxes which are beautiful - we were lucky to see them as they were being fed. We watched the dolphin and sea lion show which is in Cantonese and Mandarin (sadly no English). We took the train up and cable car down, finishing with a visit to the pandas. The large souviner shop near the entrance/exit of the park is worth a visit. A day is not enough if you want to also go on rides and see more of the park. Food outlets get busy so during peak times, I suggest you eat early/later to avoid the rush. Overall, a great visit. Enjoy!

Amusement & Animal Theme Park Rolled into One
We had a great time. The theme park is very entertaining for kids, adults and families. The Summit having some games with prizes to win. We won 3 pcs stuffed toys in a different games. The staff in these games are very accommodating. The rides and the animals exhibits, both in the summit and waterfront are entertaining and thrilling as well as educational, specially its oceanarium - the world's largest aquarium dome. The whole day experience and walking around is all worth it. 😊😊😊
