Egypt was fabulous and fascinating. We never would have been able to navigate it or learn all the interesting details without Memphis Tours. Ahmed Helal is the best tour guide you could ever find! He is caring, smart, and genuinely an all around great guy! We were able to take a day trip with Memphis Tours to Jessi’s Farm which was fantastic. We were able to see the common/everyday life of many Egyptians who do not live in the hussle and bustle of the bigger cities. We had excellent food there (the Feteer was delicious), learned how to bake Egyptian bread, rode the family donkey, drew water from a well, saw the farms be irrigated, and watched the farmers harvest peanuts. They could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. I would highly recommend asking about adding the countryside/Jessi’s farm experience to your trip. This completes the trip so that you get the mind blowing historical Egypt, the fast paced city life, and the serene village life. We also did excursions to Dendara, Abydos, Sakarra/Memphis, and Alexandria which were all captivating in their own right. The only thing I would have changed in hindsight is that I would have booked the Lake Naseer cruise in addition to the River Nile cruise so that we could have done Abu Simbel via the water instead of the long bus ride. But however you chose to get there, just go…it is unreal!

Everything was planned with attention to detail. On time departures, well informed guides and tour hosts, and a well planned itinerary. I wish? the weather wasn’t as hot, but Memphis tours made us aware of the challenges expected. The senior travel consultant Ms Rashad was very accommodating and often made sense out of our nonsense. If you have choice for travel company, pick Memphis tours. The best thing we did!

Had Private Tour of Egypt and Jordan with Memphis Tour. Very professional staff right from pick up at Cairo Airport to drop off at Amman Airport. Nile cruise was excellent. Tour staff will try to correct any issues with tour promptly. Everyone involved with tour responded back on time. Ahmed Saleh planned everything well in Egypt and Jordan. Our private tour guide Mahmoud Sayed during Nile cruise was excellent. Airport rep at Amman Airport during pickup is exceptionally good.

A wonderful trip all round. I was connected with a local guide in Cairo at Memphis Tours via Trip.me. Amira was very prompt in her responses to my emails during the planning stage, and made all the changes I requested to our private tour of Egypt (for my husband and I). Once in Egypt our guides Menna and Mahmoud were excellent. I felt like they took care of everything. One downside was that we had to join up with another party of 4 during 3 days on the cruise which was not what we planned - we paid for a private tour for the duration of the trip - the other party had kids and it’s understandable they slowed us down, but that is why we booked a private tour in the first place, but the guide tried his best to manage and keep everybody happy. Also, we were convinced to camp overnight in the desert, which we didn’t really want to do as I had arranged a hotel booking that night, but we reluctantly decided to camp with much ‘encouragement’ from the guide (not named here) and that was a mistake. We should have stuck to our itinerary as planned. But apart from this, we had the most amazing trip in Egypt. We saw amazing temples, the pyramids, did a dahabiya cruise, a little shopping, and had private drivers and guides throughout (mostly). I was pleased with it and think that they did a very good job.

We had booked a private 15 day Tour of Egypt/Jordan with Memphis tours in 2019, with Travel scheduled for Sept. 2020. Covid had other thoughts, so we rebooked the same trip to travel in Sept. 2023. Our Tour Manager, Mansour, did a fantastic job of keeping us updated as our itinerary took shape and firmed up in June 2023. The trip went off without a hitch. Tour Guides, Drivers, sites, flights all excellent and everything was on time. When we arrived from Toronto to Cairo, the Company agent met us within the Secure Customs zone and wisked us through Customs, to the baggage area and to our hotel. Memphis managed our Jordan VISA for us, we secured our VISA for Egypt on-line before we left. If you are looking for a full service tour operator that will customize your itinerary, this is the company for you.

We toured the entire Nile in Egypt from Cairo to Abu Simbel and many points in between in a logistically complex excursion requiring six nights, boat connections, flights, and yes, a camel ride. Ashraf Sheme was our direct point of contact for the majority of the trip and directly enabled our grand success. Ahmed Rabbi was present when possible but was always working the many details in the background for us. I would highly recommend this portion of our trip and Jordan to anyone.

Egypt is a wonderful country with so much to see & experience, The Temples, Pyramids, Sphinx, Museum, Library, Castle, Cruise were an absolute delight. It was a very well planned trip through Memphis Tours, with excellent Tour Manager (Ayman) and Guides at all the locations (Abdul, Ahmed & Tamer). They had people well organised at airport aswell. We covered Cairo, Giza, Aswan, Abu Simbel, Edfu, Luxor, Alexandria. We covered these 8-9 days by flight, Car & Cruise. While planning for Cairo, pls look at location of the Hotel : traffic can be tough at times.

We had a great time on a 3 day Nile cruise with Memphis Tours visiting sites in Luxor and Memphis. Our guide Medhat was wonderful and packed in so much information. The only thing we would do differently would be to skip Aswan dam and unfinished obelisk and focus on one sight a day to give more downtime to process all we had seen. The valley of the Kings was amazing and the colours inside the tombs are still so vibrant

We traveled throuh Egypt with Memphis Tours and they were great all the time. Since the reservation process through whatsapp to our arrival, everything went smooth and well. The team, from the representatives to the tour guides, was great, they were very attentive and worried to solve any problems we had. I strongly recommend this agency if you want to have a good trip to Egypt.

Amazing tour of Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Valley of the Kings, Karnak and Luxor temples with Aladdin Korany. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide than Aladdin, he was organised, spoke perfect English and his knowledge of Egyptian history, the temples and the tombs was extensive! Highly recommend Aladdin and these tours!
