    Short tour in Marrakech
Mandatory stop for anyone visiting Marrakech. Beyond the splendid architectural research of marble and wood decorations, it is important to learn the history and context in which the building was built. Knowing its reasons and its original use provides the visitor with an insight into historical Arab culture. I suggest visiting the site accompanied by a local (official) guide.

    Impressive
One of the must-see places in Marrakech. The palace has impressive geometric designs typical of Arabian buildings. The architecture is stunning and its Moroccan design is notable. The palace was used by the Sultan and his family in the late 19th century.

    Beautiful palace, come early.
Check-in went fairly smoothly, we arrived around 11 am. Very beautiful palace, I recommend arriving earlier to take the best photos. All in all enjoyed it and a must see. Reminded me of the alcazar in Seville.

Vibrant palace with huge Marrakech Aesthetics
In comparison to the older palace el Badii, this one seemed a lot busier and much more vibrant. Which it should be given that it only built in the 19th century. There are so many places for photos and videos in the palace. The price is the same for both palaces but I would certainly pick this one of the two if you could only choose one. Every single door and window is a photo opportunity. Towards the end of the experience if you’re following the correct route there is a small courtyard which seems to be overlooked by many guest meaning that you can take your time to get the perfect shot.

    Better than we expected!
We went on international women’s day and were pleasantly surprised to learn that all women were given free entry on that day. I thought this was well worth a visit, in many ways, more to see than Ben Yousseff Madersa School. We did not wait to go into Bacha Coffee shop but it looks very beautiful.

    Gorgeous
This palace is a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture and decorative art. It is composed of two large gardens, a small Riad, a small courtyard, a large marble courtyard known as the "Court of Honour" and a large Riad. Everything is located on the ground floor. Beautiful to visit.

Smell the orange blossom in March
We visited in March the fragrance from the blossom on the orange trees was unbelievable so a great entrance. There was alot history surrounding the Palace which our guide told us about but I think the earthquake damaged several parts of the building. Luckily we went early in the day because as we were leaving there were queues forming.

    Beautiful palace
The palace is one of the highlights of Marrakech and is in many ways a simpler copy of the Alhambra in Andalusia. Not surprising since it was built by Andalusian refugees. Very worth seeing, although unfortunately a bit overcrowded.

    Sultan's Palace
This is one of the 'must sees' of Marrakech. It is not a very old palace though. It was finished in 1900. There are beautiful chambers with intricate wall decorations and beautiful ceilings. I should say, though, the Alhambra in Granada, Spain is much older and somewhat more impressive.
