Nicely designed and maintained gardens, similar to those of Generalife in Granada, Spain. It’s a good place to recoup from the intensity of the market atmosphere.

    The fabulous extraordinary gardens
Peaceful and cool with plenty of shade from the hot sun. Not too crowded as you have to pre-booked a timed entry ticket. The cafe was very reasonably priced and food was good considering it’s a high turnover tourist attraction.

    To do!
Nice place to visit. The gardens are pleasant and the photos are “instagramable” for those interested. However, plan to pay for your visit to the site, especially if there are more than 2 of you, to avoid the queue... Take the time for a coffee break or lunch on site, the place is friendly and the team of friendly waiters

    Online ticketing only
Reservation in hand, we arrived at the garden, 15 years after our first visit. Things have changed a lot 😀 Online ticketing only, upon planned entry. Direction of visit but colors and a garden as magnificent as ever. No extras at the museums and a one hour visit while hanging out. Beautiful views, beautiful cacti, beautiful buildings, a must-visit

Still loved it but now very busy
I visited here 17 years ago and operationally it has changed dramatically.... Very efficiently managed but pre-booking is essential. Its much more popular that when I first visited, with a lovely shop and gallery - unfortunately the cafe let it down as we couldn't get service, but with a couple of other cafes near by outside, it was easy to get a drink nearby. (BTW, we couldn't spot a koi in the koi pond!)

    Visit Majorelle Gardens in Marrakech
After reading so many reviews, a visit to the Majorelle Gardens is a must. As a precaution, buy the entrance ticket in advance. I would say that the entry price (7 euros) is worth it all. The quantity of different plant species is astonishing. The multitude and size of the numerous succulent plants leaves you amazed. An incredible green oasis. Only after the visit does one understand why there are long queues to access it. An environmental heritage that, rightly, must be safeguarded and respected. Absolutely recommended

    A must-have
A must-visit! The brilliance of the colors, the variety of plants, the ponds… everything comes together for a wonderful walk and dazzling souvenir photos! Remember to book online, and in advance...slots go quickly. Also, favor the early hours with less crowds.

Nice even in the pouring rain
We toured on one of the worst days in the pouring rain! The gardens were still beautiful and worth seeing. I wouldn't say this is a must-see but it's definitely a should-see if you want to hit the well-knows sights of Marrakech.

    Pretty garden, very popular
Very pretty garden, the Majorelle blue which stands out everywhere in the garden is really beautiful, and the garden is a soothing detour to make in Marrakech. The price may be a little high but it's still a very nice park. We advise you to take your places to go there in the morning when there seem to be fewer people, in fact the garden is quickly crowded with people lining up to take photos at each spot on the site. Nice visit.

    Very Beautiful Garden
It is undoubtedly a very beautiful garden but it is not worth the price asked for the ticket. It is mandatory to buy tickets online, there is no ticket office at the door, the queue is still huge. The garden is not without its beauty, and has a magnificent atmosphere that contrasts with the chaos you feel in the streets. If you are going to visit for the sake of visiting, to take photos for Instagram, invest in another place, there are a lot of people, a lot of confusion.

    Stunning beauty.
So much beauty in one place is really exaggerated! This garden is breathtaking, relaxing lush. I highly recommend, my only regret is not having enough time to peacefully explore this magnificent place but for sure I would come back to admire every little nook and cranny. Small downside, the museum is under renovation and therefore impossible to visit… otherwise I greatly appreciated the gardens. ❤️

  • Le Jardin Secret Hotels
The riad-museum Le Jardin Secret is one of the largest and most ancient palaces of the medina of Marrakech. It is a place that has kept ancient structures intact that are of an extraordinary cultural value, linked to the art of gardens, architecture and Arab hydraulics. Popularly known as Riad Loukrissi, it has been the sumptuous residence of the Qaid U-Bihi who was the head of the Haha tribe. The riad rises up in the Mouassine quarter (on the main thoroughfare and but a few steps away from the Mouassine fountain and Mouassine Mosque), and comprises two large gardens and one of the highest towers of the medina. The museum provides you with a wealth of historical information about Marrakech's architecture, water, and gardens. You will also find a boutique, a bookshop and two cafes inside Le Jardin Secret. The cafes offer you up fresh, homemade products that you can eat in lush and peaceful settings.
