    Museum experience Copenhagen
Wonderful building and great exhibition. Just perfect for a chilly and windy day. The Egyptian part was especially rich but we saw some really nice pieces from Van Gogh, Monet and Gaugein. Recommended!

This museum is definitely worth the detour... To do
Museum located next to Tivoli Park. It exhibits sculptures by Danish and French artists with whom the links were strong. There are also Egyptian, Greek and Roman antiquities as well as impressionist and post-impressionist paintings. Entrance is 125 kr or €16. This museum is definitely worth the detour... To do

    A magical and inspiring place
Very nice museum to plan for your visit to Copenhagen. The glass roof with the palm trees at the entrance brings a magical dimension to the place and the rooms are all as superb to see as each other. A very nice discovery for us, notably with the Rodin collection.

Interesting museum. Free entry last Wednesday of month
What a beautiful museum, amazing statues, best part for us was the Egyptian part including the mummies and sarcophagus, very interesting. Do not take any backpacks unless you are prepared to put them in a locker which you need to pay for. Some useful advice - The museum offers free entry on the last Wednesday of each month which is the reason we went, so glad we did though.

    Lovely atmosphere
Loved the palm house, a beautiful place to sit and enjoy. The museum is full of sculptures and art, there isn’t loads of information so be aware you won’t be learning about the objects and their history. The Egyptian part is excellent, and the cafe very nice. We visited towards the end of the day and it wasn’t particularly busy which was nice. Lots to see in every room and a lovely atmosphere overall

Amazing museum with a lot of art and sculptures
Wow, the Glyptoteket is amazing! Definitely recommend going if you want to see art and sculptures. I really enjoyed the special exhibition “After nature.” Be ready to spend at least an hour there, it is huge and the paths are a bit weird sometimes, so it’s easy to miss exhibitions. Also, one of my favourite musem shops - so many beautiful things I would have loved to buy. You have to put bigger bags in a locker, which cost 20dkk.

Beautiful place to spend a few hours
Beautiful collection of mainly sculptures and remakes with a scarce painting section of French artwork. The inside garden was quite beautiful especially with thoughtfully placed artwork within although multiple copies of the same sculpture within the garden made it feel less impressive than if each piece had been unique. The Egyptian section was quite interesting as well as the thoughtful design into the mummy area.

Beautiful museum with sculpture and paintings.
What a beautiful museum this is! We went on our last day, before we went to the airport and had about 2.5 hours. That was perfect. The museum consists of beautiful statues from Roman times and ancient Egypt and also has a collection of French and Danish art. There was a lot of Gaugin and even a number of Vincent van Gogh! A very nice collection with special pieces. The building itself is also really beautiful, with very nice architecture. There are areas with minimalist stairs but also large spaces with marble columns and a beautiful courtyard garden. There is so much to see and everything is extremely beautiful. Highly recommended!!

    Fabulous museum
The museum is free to enter on the last Wednesday of the month. Therefore we timed our visit to coincide with this free entry - along with hundreds of other people!!! It was really very busy and part of me wishes we had gone on another day for a more peaceful experience. However, the buildings are beautiful and the exhibits were fascinating. There is a roof terrace at the top of the museum with lovely views over the city.

    Gorgeous garden in beautiful building
Visited here mostly to see the French Impressionist art and were able to see Gauguin, Degas, Cezanne etc. The museum also has a wonderful indoor garden which is absolutely stunning. Found the map we were given difficult to follow.
