Olay's Hot Glass Studio is a glass blowing studio owned and operated by the glass artist Olya Brener. The studio is located in Moshav Aviezer at the center of Elah Valley. The Valley of Elah is a beautiful countryside region known as 'The Tuscany of Israel'. ​ Group Tour The studio offer a 1 hour tour which includes watching a live demonstration by our professional team of glassblowers, short lecture on the glassblowing process and answers any questions your group may have. Classes The studio specializes in teaching the art of glassblowing, offering a variety of class options for any experience level.

Behind the Scenes Sofer Tour. Have an up-close look at the work and life of the Sofer Sta"m, (scribe). Very hands-on and interactive, every participant has an opportunity to try his hand at writing on parchment with a feather-pen. Tour lasts approximately two hours and of course questions are encouraged. Perfect for families, school classes and anybody who wants to learn more about the Sofer and his work. How is a Torah Scroll written? What are the special tools the Sofer uses? What is the difference in writing a Torah and writing parchments for tefillin or a mezuzah? What are tefillin boxes made from and how is that done? The tour is completely customizable and adjusted according to the interest and background of the group. The fee is for the group, up to 15 participants.
