Offering a wealth of outdoors wonders both in winter and summer, the White Mountains are a thrill for all seasons.

Sundance is a ski resort in the state of Utah, owned by Hollywood legend Robert Redford (the name derives, of course, from Redford's role in the seminal film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid). It is a great resort for skiing fans but also a family friendly holiday destination in its own right.

Winter sports are of course the main attraction of Sundance ski resort, on the northeast slopes of Mount Timpanogos. It is an area geared towards confident and experienced skiing enthusiasts, with only 3 of the resort's 41 ski trails marked at the easiest level. Other than the skiing, the area's other principal draw is the annual Sundance Film Festival in Park City, about 30 miles from the Sundance Ski Resort. Also in the summer there are ten miles of alpine trails over which you can go hiking or cycling, and horse riding. There are also opportunities for fly fishing for any keen anglers in the family.

Lively nightclubs pulsing with Caribbean beats drive the nightlife scene of Cabarate, a breathtaking beach town. Not even the stubbornly two-left-footed can keep their toes from tapping when the sun goes down on Cabarete, which brims with culture and energy. Beachfront bars cum discotheques are the perfect spot to shake what your Mami gave you.
