Named after its founder Ghazi-ud-din, Ghaziabad is a large industrial city in the state of Uttar Pradesh. While Ghaziabad has industries that manufacture railway coaches, diesel engines, bicycles, glassware, pottery etc., its proximity to Delhi also makes Ghaziabad an important satellite city

Laid out by British architect Edwin Lutyens, the Indian capital is a striking modern metropolis. Udaipur, known as the Venice of the East, boasts several sparkling lakes against a backdrop of the Aravail hills. Jag Niwas and Jag Mandir, islands in Fateh Sagar Lake, are the site of Udaipur Solar Observatory and Nehru Garden.
